Universe to Universe Cross-Overs

Since 2005, we have been debating several Company Cross-Overs with other publishers. Three that I believe make the cut are the Star Trek/X-Men, Star Trek:The Next Generation/X-Men, and the "Devil's Reign Cross-Over between Marvel and Top-Cow.
I believe they should make the cut on the fact that they do not violate established continuity and they fit the criteria established by the MCP here:
I don't think there were any real objections to the Devil's Reign Cross-Over. I believe I suggested placement in past posts, but I'll have to scan the archives. I'd really like to know the continuity problems with these since they seem to adhere to the rules on cross-overs above?

If I seem to remember correctly the main objection was that Star Trek:The Next Generation/X-Men continued in a novel and that the MCP does not include novels because the editors or editor of some of the Marvel Novels said they were not canon. It's been a long time. Even though the novel may not be up for inclusion, I still believe the comics should be.When the Marvel Universe crosses over with another pubilsher's universe, it must be presented as two separate universes crossing, not existing in the same universe, to qualify for a listing (Avengers/JLA being a good example of this). In such a case, we'll list only the Marvel characters, as we're the MARVEL Chronology Project.
