Other company's characters

Wolframbane's post here got me thinking.

Are there any cases where we've listed another company's character appearing in that company's books?

I know we list the joke characters like Clark Kent, but only in Marvel books. I know we list JLA/A, but only Marvel characters.

Does anyone know?

How so?

According to comics.org, X-Force/Youngblood was published by Marvel.

It's possible you were referring to Youngblood/X-Force, which was published by Image, according to comics.org.

But I still don't see how that applies here, since we don't list any Image characters as appearing in either of those books.

I'm asking, are there any cases where we have listed an appearance by another publisher's characters, in books published by someone other than Marvel?

The Battle-Axis from INV2 were all superheroes from other publishers who were appropriated as supervillains in that series. All of them have their non-Marvel appearances listed.

In that case, though, they were all "adopted" into the Marvel Universe by that mini. Dr. Death/Dr.Nemesis even went on to join the Avengers.

Nonetheless, a fascinating example.

Oh for God's sake. Yes -- X-MEN!

Sorry, Freudian slip, I'm working on an Avengers-related project at the moment. Bah!

With regards to my prior thread about Amazing-Man (Centaur Publications) and Prince of Orphans, has there been any reference in Marvel Comics to his Centaur Comics appearances as being actually canon within the Marvel Universe?
