Rachel Summers in GENHOPE 10-FB

In GENHOPE 10, we see an interview that Rachel Summers recorded shortly after she arrived in the 616 timeline. She's dressed in her hound outfit. I suspect Rachel appears here between UX 188 and M/TU 150. Any problems with that placement?

Rachel wasn't wearing her hound outfit at the time (and in fact was hiding her past as a hound from the X-Men) but that's probably just an art error.
ETA: Paul, isn't Rachel talking about being a hound in that scene? If she is, then it has take place after UX 196, where she reveals to the X-Men that she was a hound.

Rachel wore that red hound costume between the first Excalibur Special Edition and XCAL 50. That's a pretty big window.

On the surface, it appears that Xavier arranged the interview as the recording was in his archives. Would that make sense at any time during this period?

Excalibur doesn't make contact with the X-Men again until XCAL 41. So we should probably assume that the interview takes place sometime between XCAL 41 and XCAL 50.

Which would, effectively, mean between XCAL 41 & 43 - between 43 & 50, Excalibur are temporarily disbanded as everyone except Nightcrawler heads off separately for a while, and Rachel has the Phoenix power turned off.

Okay, so does anyone see a problem with a placement sometime between XCAL 41 and 43?

That would place it in the timeframe just after Professor X returned to Earth and fought the Shadow King in the Muir Island Saga and just before X 1. That works.

Depends how you look at it - XCAL 41 ends with that scene of them getting in contact with Cable, who has pictures of all the post-X 1 teams on his monitors (as we discussed a while back); XCAL:AA has Rachel muse "I'm sorry Professor X, whereever you are", implying she has no idea whether he's on Earth, in space or anywhere in between he's currently resident. [Is there a specific reason for AA being placed after #41, actually? I don't have time to check just now.]

Anyway, so after #41, Excalibur are in-contact with the other X-teams, so probably just after that.
