Deadpool 7 (2013)

The introduction describes it as an inventory issue from the late 70s early 80s. This is not, of course.
The question is whether this is imaginary or in-continuity.

The note at the beginning states "at the end of the Bronze Age of comics" (so mid-80s)
The Daily Bugle staff looks early 80s Romita Jr
References to Iron Man: he has "been acting like Richard Pryor," "Stark International's stock has been in the toilet and the company is the target of a hostile takeover from Obadiah Stane", "Stark might have a problem holding his liquor",

Power Pack kids are shown and referenced to have a series (1984)

Deadpool is shown to already have his costumed identity.

PS: From an interview with the writer: "I will say it's a story that's in continuity and happened in between the panels when no one was looking."

Power Pack #1 is cover dated Aug 1984.

Obadiah Stane's takeover and Tony's drunken period was 1983-1984.

Tony Stark vowed to clean himself up in Iron Man 182 (May 1984) and Stane had long bought up Stark Industries and renamed it around Iron Man 173 (Aug 1983) so that's rather old news for the Bugle to be thinking of reporting on if this takes place after the Power Pack get their powers.
