My new Timeline Chronology Project

Hi! 1st post, but longtime admirer.
I've recently started a "condensed" timeline chronology of the Marvel Universe. It will mostly chart 1st appearances, deaths, team changes, universe shaking events, great battles, stuff like that. I guess whatever I think is "important" to the characters in the MU. At this point my site covers 1961-1973 (with pre-61 events kind of covered, but not annotated yet). I have a rough chart of events going up to 2008, but I plan to read every comic in each year before I post that years update, since alot of information I've found to be a bit confusing. Besides, it's alot of fun! When I get to the 90s I may change my policy, there are so many comics by then, my eyes may fall out! We'll see. Anyways enjoy!

Nice site! I haven't read many of those issues (in 1974, anyway, the first page that comes up) so it's fascinating to see a series of 'snapshots' of the state of the Marvel Universe at any given time.

Thanks, and I just put up 1975, which was a really kind of a pain because of sooo many horror magazines...thankfully they were all cancelled by years end!

If you read the posts starting from 1961 and going year by year I hope it feels like an outline for an epic novel....
