PPTSS 118 and ASM 279

OK, I finally found my copy of ASM 279. In ASM 279, on page 5, Sable, with her Uncle Morty nearby, receives some orchids. Sable realizes something's wrong and tosses the flowers out the window. In panel 5, page 5, the orchids explode. In panel 6-8, the phone rings, a voice says, "Good afternoon, my dear. I trust you enjoyed the flowers."
The first three pages of PPTSS 118 take place "some days before" the rest of the story and feature the Kingpin meeting with the Foreigner. (Incidentally, someone should have been more careful with the references. In PPTSS 118, the Kingpin complains that he's been investigated after Nuke's "death" in DD 233 but in ASM 280, the Kingpin refuses to hire Jack O' Lantern because Nuke is still working for him. Peter's remarks in ASM 284 about Matt's battle with Nuke agree with PPTSS 118, so we went with PPTSS 118.) Anyway, on page 3, panel 2, the Kingpin hears the explosion. In panel 3, the Foreigner says "I hoped you liked the flowers, my dear" and the Foreigner tells the Kingpin she hung up.
