ULTRAF/SM 1A has the exact same pages 1-17 & 30-40 as ULTRAF/SM 1B. Pages 18-29 of ULTRAF/SM 1A shows what the Green Goblin is doing and ULTRAF/SM 1B shows what Spider-Man and Prime are doing.

Did the issues come out on the same day?

If not, wouldn't #1A be the "main" version of the events on the duplicated pages, and #1B be treated as a reprint with new story pages?

Hmm, according to the publication-date database at Mike's Amazing World of Comics, both #1A and #1B came out the same day -- January 9, 1996. So yeah, looks like those would be simultaneous scenes after all...
