The Superior Foes of Spider-Man

OK, so the Superior Foes of Spider-Man series is over. The series ends with Boomerang telling his story to
Spoiler:
Peter Parker, presumably Spock
. The
Spoiler:
Black Cat
plays a major role in his story, which would seem to indicate that this takes place before Superior Spider-Man 20. The problem is, Boomerang admits that he made up half of his story, so what should we do? Should we just place the framing sequence and ignore Boomerang's flashbacks? Should we wait and see how much future writers decide was true and how much was made up?
