Willie Lumpkin rapid aging; he went from

Post by Enda80 »

Did anyone notice than in his own strip Willie Lumpkin stayed in his 30's or so, but when he subsequently appeared in the FF just a few years later, he had aged 30 years?

He is also one of those characters who will cause continuity problems in a few years due to the fact that he was a young man during WWII in Marvels #1.

Enda obviously reads Comic Book Legends Revealed lol
I don't think there is any issue, even if you do choose to regard them as the same character. There is no reference anywhere to how much time passed between the cartoon strip and his first appearance in FF.
Now if he'd been younger in FF that would cause a problem, but this way round, well, people do get older.
