What was Nova doing at the time of New Avengers: Break Out

Im writing an AU script and need to know if he was on a team (New warriors) or in space or what. Its a crucial moment in the story.

I think he was watching "The Price Is Right".

EDIT: New Avengers #1 was published 1/2005. New Warriors v3 #1, in which Nova was part of the reality show cast, was published 8/2005.

I have the Breakout occurring after Nova's appeaeance in S-H3 5 and just before his recruitment by Night Thrasher in NW3 3-FB (8-9).
