End of the Golden Age

I know that Marvel Comics #1 (1939), the first appearance of Sub-Mariner, is considered the beginning of the Golden Age of Marvel Comics, and that Fantastic Four #1 (1961) is considered the beginning of the Silver Age of Marvel Comics. Would anyone know the years and/or issues that are generally considered the end of the Golden and Silver Ages?

End of the GA is when superheroes died right back around the end of WW2.
End of the SA is debatable - when Marvel got a better distribution deal and launched a shedload of new titles, when Kirby left Marvel, ASM 121-122 and the start of 1970 have all been quoted.

My end point for Marvel's Silver Age is October 1971, the month before the price rise from 15 cents to 20 cents (via a brief jump to 25 cents). The price rise coincided with the tenth anniversary of the Fantastic Four and the major change in the design of the cover layout.
