Who or what are the big "trump cards" in Marvel Chronology building?

Say if you have a big conflict when figuring out when a certain character appearance takes place, who has precedent?

The only "trumps" that I'm aware of are:

1. Events in the stories themselves will usually trump secondary sources, such as the Handbook or the Index.

2. Flashbacks can sometimes be trumped, and chalked up as lies, or false memories, if needed.

In any case, you're better off presenting any problems to the group here, and letting the assembled wisdom hash it out.
