October call for analyses

Boy, with the recent proliferation of titles, things are stacking up here, even though my own buy list has been bulging.

As usual, I've noted folks who have agreed to submit analyses, as well as those issues and story arcs that are desperately seeking analysts to give them some attention. Please let me know if I've messed up any listings. If anyone out there would like to volunteer, please let me know.

As always, thanks to folks who post analyses in this forum! :)

Whoops! I've fallen a bit behind, it looks like.(It's been a busy/crazy two months!) I should be back on track soon, though.

Might as well put more on my plate, so you can sign me up for Captain America: Theater of War – America First! and Ghost Rider: Danny Ketch #1-5. Why not? :)

Also, while it was solicitied as Wolverine: Roar, both the cover and indicia call it Wolverine Annual #2. The story is titled 'Roar', but I think that should be switched to Wolverine Annual #2. You can keep me on for it, by the way.

Much obliged, Fury. I've updated the call.

I forgot to mention earlier, but you can put me down for Wolverine: Chop Shop, Wolverine: Flies to a Spider, Wolverine: Manifest Destiny #1-4, & Wolverine: Origins #31-32. It looks like you'll be picking up Wolverine: Origins 29 & 30 yourself as part of the Original Sin crossover with X-Men: Legacy, but I'll still submit an analysis for those issues as well as X-Men Legacy 217 & 218, in addition to X-Men: Original Sin #1. Probably all in one big batch.

The only unclaimed thing I could do from the list would be GOTG2 1-3... but given that (a) we don't know what the deal is with Vance Astro or Starhawk yet (the "answers" regarding the latter in #5 just raise more questions) and (b) I can't figure out when the smegging debrief logs from #1 could possibly be recorded while maintaining internal consistency, it'd be a while since I wouldn't want any part of the analysis to be overtaken by events...

Wolverine Addiction IS a known condition, and various voluntary organisations exist to help rehabilitate sufferers, as I understand it ;)

Daredevil v2 #111 is the first part of a multiple issue story and ends with a to be continued, so that should probably be moved down to Future Stuff. I don't know how many issues the arc will last, though. You can keep me on for it, by the way.

Also, I may be wrong, but isn't Daredevil: Dead On Arrival and Daredevil & Captain America: Dead on Arrival the same thing?

Paul, are you getting the December "What If's" this year? I plan on doing so, and can provide analysis once again this year, letting you know if there's any "Earth-616" scenes...

I have no plans to pick them up, so please do let us know about any 616 scenes. Thanks.

Did you see what I did there, Paul? :) I threw a big wrench at you with Punisher 56-60, but then I made up for it with War Journal & Franklin Richards.

AND, you can sign me up for Franklin Richards: Sons of Geniuses & Ghost Rider v6 #28-?. See? I'm a nice guy... :outtahere:

I was planning to get that comic, but I decided to pass it up after I leafed through it in the store. So your analysis would be most welcome, wolframbane. Thanks!

Also understand, wolframbane, that you don't need Paul's permission to submit an analysis. Paul maintains his Call for Analysis list as a method for obtaining analyses for the books that he doesn't read, and uses those analyses for the Calendar posted here.

But the rest of us here (including Paul, I'm sure) always welcome analyses, even for those books that Paul reads.
