Franklin Richards: Summer Smackdown! #1

Synopsis:

Franklin and HERBIE have accompanied the Thing to a charity UCWF event.(that’s Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation) The Thing wrestles Thunder, but Thunder is actually fighting; his brother Lightning was sent to jail by the Fantastic Four a few years ago. Thunder has the Thing on the ropes, so Franklin taps in and defeats Thunder in the ring, Thunder runs off. Franklin reveals that he raided his father’s lab for a strength enhancing belt, and Franklin is announced the winner of the main event.

Synopsis:

Franklin wants to play with his dad, but he’s too busy in his lab. Franklin zaps him with a de-aging gun and they play for hours. The effects of the gun wears off and Reed returns to the lab, but changes his mind and plays with Franklin.

Franklin Richards: Summer Smackdown! #1/3

Synopsis:

Franklin’s hamster Mr. Sniffles is dead, so Franklin uses a re-animator to bring him back to life. It works, but Mr. Sniffles becomes a zombie hamster and attacks Franklin and HERBIE. They use Franklin’s new robot dog FFido to make Mr. Sniffles jealous, and when he attacks FFido he’s electrocuted. They put Mr. Sniffles in a box and figure out what to feed it.

References:
There are two FlashBacks, but with no new information. They just remind us that Franklin Richards: Happy Franksgiving 1 and Franklin Richards: March Madness ¼ happened.

Synopsis:

Franklin’s teacher wants to talk to his parents, so Franklin gets a hologram disguise to try to get no one to talk to each other. After a bunch of running around, HERBIE, disguised as Principal Tis, gets the teacher and both Reed & Sue in the same room.

Synopsis:

Franklin wants to play, but HERBIE has a date with Roberta. Sadly, the date ends horribly, but Franklin’s happy now that HERBIE has time to play. HERBIE’s in no mood and goes off depressed. Later, Franklin drags HERBIE back in to reception where Roberta is more inclined to respond to HERBIE. While the two chat, Reed thanks Franklin for suggesting he upgrade Roberta’s artificial intelligence; now she’ll be more efficient AND she can show emotion. Reed’s proud of his son for sacrificing time with HERBIE, so they go to do stuff together.

Presumably, this should be placed before Fin Fang Four, as Roberta is fully sentient there. [She must dump Franklin's Herbie at some stage for Elektro. Which, given the way the mailroom Herbies treat Elektro, is kinda amusing ]

Thanks for that point. I'm inclined to place just this one story before FIN FANG FOUR, long before the other stories in SUMMER SMACKDOWN, not to mention stories in MARCH MADNESS, FALL FOOTBALL FIASCO, SPRING BREAK, and NOT SO SECRET INVASION.
