7-10: Dream arrives at the New York Institute for the Arts to meet Thunderstrike for lunch. When she sees Kevin with some college friends, she realizes that he expected her to come in her civilian identity. She explains the misunderstanding to him and then rides off, embarassed. Meanwhile, Dream is being followed by a robotic bug, which is beaming video back to the Red Queen and Ion Man, who are plotting to attack her.

11-12: American Dream returns to Avengers mansion.

13-14: Shannon leads a tour as an Avengers mansion tour guide. A woman on the tour, named Sophina, asks how to contact the Avengers for help. After the tour, she tells Shannon that her fiance, Marco, has vanished, and that she cannot go to the police because her fiance is an illegal alien.

15-22: American Dream heads off to meet with the police at the NYPD Bomb Disposal Unit. The bomb squad finds that the object found at the warehouse isn't actually a bomb, but instead some type of carrying case. Suddenly, the case opens up and a crystal monster climbs out and starts attacking people. American Dream shows up and starts fighting it. Red Queen and Ion Man are watching the battle on video. The monster knocks out American Dream, tears through a fence, and escapes.

Flashbacks:
(11:3-12:2) Young Shannon Carter's parents are killed in a car crash that leaves her in a wheelchair. Her Aunt Peggy takes her home from the hospital.

The same backstory was revealed in a flashback in Spider-Girl #32, but this retelling has some new scenes.
