X-Factor Forever #1 [canonical?]

Absotively not - like Claremont's X-Men Forever and New Mutants Forever, this is "What If... Louise Simonson never left X-Factor". I'm looking forward to it, but it ain't MU (and nor is it in-continuity with Claremont's titles, for the record).

My understanding is that this just collects some backups from various recent X-titles. Can anyone confirm that?

My understanding is that this just collects some backups from various recent X-titles. Can anyone confirm that?

That's certainly what it looks like : "four thrilling, untold tales from Hope's future past as she grapples with vicious snipers, robot wolf packs, mutant rats, and even Cable himself."
It has the same creative team as those four recently-published back-ups. And looking back :
- PSYLOCKE #1/2 : our duo fights snipers ;
- DARK X-MEN #1/2 : Hope fights Cable in a training session ;
- X-MEN: LEGACY #230/2 : they fight robot wolves ;
- X-FORCE #22/2 : the aftermath of Hope fighting giant mutant rats.

I daresay it's the same stories, given the evidence available.

What got me thinking that X-MEN: HOPE was new was the word "untold" in the solicits.
