After weeks of getting Cyclops's big telepathic call to all mutants (from UX 500), Molly decides to pay a visit to Graymalking Industries. She gets a full tour by... Wolverine, of all people. Meanwhile, the other Runaways are hanging out in SF, until the X-Kids show up (Cyclops has sent them to "greet" the Runaways). When Molly learns this, she demands to get there post-haste (after all, we all know how such meetings end up...).

On their way, Wolverine and Molly are assaulted and taken captive by a group of armoured supervillains. As their leader explains when they wake up in a nondescript warehouse, his former team was killed off by the Haynes 8 years ago (as they didn't like competition). Now he's going to take revenge !

... Or not, as the baddies are swiftly dealt with by Wolverine. (Molly prevents him from getting too lethal, though.)

The next day (page 22), Molly explains to the other Runaways that she has no intention to stay with the X-Men, and so they all go home. (By the way, there was no fight with the X-Kids. They just went to a nightclub.)

Flashbacks :
- Page 1 : "Los Angeles, 8 years ago" : Anderson and his SWAT team find the corpses of a group of wannabee supervillains. There's one survivor.
- Page 16, panel 3 : the Haynes attacking the supervillains
- Page 16, panel 4 : the survivor in an hospital

Notes :
- The X-Club are operating in Greymalkin Industries, so this is set after they set shop there (UX 507 ?). But not too much later than that, as Cyclops's invitation is still recent ("weeks" ago). It's obviously before Utopia.
- Storm is away, presumably in Wakanda (she communicates through holographic phone, so that's still a full appearance for her).
- There's a one-line reference to the previous arc ("... and then we fought zombies !"), but no indication of how much time has occured since then.

Second story : Truth or Dare (11 pages)

- The Sons of the Serpent (no named members)

(One evening, at the Runaways' house) The Runaways are playing Truth or Dare, which involves stunts like stealing the Sons of the Serpent's magic staff or discussing their sex lives (which is a bit awkward when Klara shows up).

Once again, one of Nico's spell backfires, and they fight a giant dragon/serpent-thing for a few pages. And that's pretty much it.

Notes :
- Again, no indication about how much time happened between stories. I'd put this after the first story, if only because they were published that way.

Kavita Rao is part of the X-Club in the first story, placing it after UXM #508. For the Index, I placed it between UXM #512-513 -- or, more specifically, between Eternals #9 and Wolverine: Revolver.
