Brief synopsis: The N.S.C. sends Justice to Duncanville, Texas, to investigate a paranormal ex-con, Dennis Foley. As the mob prepares to lynch Foley for his former crimes, Tensen and he make a plan whereby Foley comes to be seen as a hero by fighting Justice off when he seemingly tries to convince Foley to destroy the town. After the battle, Tensen feels great psychic pain when Rodstvow destroys Psi-Hawk, not fully realizing that Angela was nearly crushed while the two paranormals fought in the Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
References: Pages 1 through 22 take place the same day as the fight between Psi-Hawk and Rodstvow in Washington, DC [April 22, 1988].

Brief synopsis: The Medusa Web sends Potiphar into the Kirkuk border region during the Iran-Iraq War to retrieve a shipment of nerve gas stolen from the Iraqi Army by an Iranian border patrol. He completes the mission, but destroys the nerve gas after receiving his payment.

Brief synopsis: The enigmatic Judge hires Elliot Quill to assassinate Justice and uses his powers to protect Quill from Justice's powers. Tensen narrowly escapes death when another paranormal, Creeping Crud, steps into the path of Quill's sniper fire. Justice chases the assassin, but Quill manages to escape.

As the gang members prepare to kill him, Nightmask generates nightmarish forms that frighten the gang causing them to flee. Remsen takes one of the motorcycles and heads back to Fort Benning.

Brief synopsis: Quill becomes enamored of Angie and tries to force himself on her prior to killing her. The intervention of the hotel's security guard give Angela a chance to escape to a nearby cemetery where her own paranormal power, the ability to animate the dead, first makes itself apparent. Angela commands an army of corpses to kill Quill before the shock of the situation causes her to fall into a coma.

- On 4:4, in Angela's dreams, her gravestone notes she was born in 1968.
- As noted on 11:3, Quill checked into his hotel four days ago. As such it is likely this story takes place on April 26, 1988.

Brief synopsis: Quill is a socially awkward teen. On his parents urging, he takes out Beth Ann Hufnagel on a date. During the date, Quill is rejected by Hufnagel and, upon accidentally killing her, he finds that he has a penchant for killing.

Brief synopsis: Angela is brought to a hospital in a state of shock and Justice blames himself. Seeing his failure to go after and kill Rodstvow and Psi-Hawk as his crime, and Angela's trauma as the Lord's punishment, Tensen decides to make amends. Via Updike's connection with the Medusa Web, Justice agrees to embark on a trip to Siberia to aid them in freeing Psi-Force to help battle Rodstvow.
References: This issue splits time between a flashback the night and day after last issue [Angela admitted to a hospital in a catatonic state] and the “present day” which takes place an unknown time after that [just before Justice helps the Medusa Web break Psi-Force out of the Siberian Project].

Brief synopsis: The Medusa Web rescues Jake Travest as he is being transported from prison. They bring him to the site where the remains of the Mark III M.A.X. armor are being houses. Though the armor is still badly damaged, Travest locates a computer disk containing an entire set of specifications to construct a new suit of armor. With the information in hand, the Medusa Web operatives steal the disk from him and leave him behind, blowing up the building with the remains of the armor, and Travest, still in it.
References: On page 3:1, Travest states that he has "been locked up in ISO since February" [1988], and on page 5:4 he states that has spent "four months in ISO". So it is likely that pages 1 through 6 take place during June 1988.
