This is my first analysis... let me know if I did anything wrong.

ALL SELECT COMICS 1/2

Published: Fall 1943 (cover date)

Appearances: Human Torch (Jim Hammond), Toro, the Claw, Herr Hundt, Stuart Lawson, Dan

Brief Synopsis: The Human Torch and Toro stop the Claw and his Nazi henchman from blowing up Boulder Dam.

References: Aside from taking place during WWII, there's nothing to go on. Going by publication order, it takes place after HT 8 and before ALL WINNERS COMICS 19 (many other Golden Age appearances are missing from that gap). This time span includes a number of modern comics set in the past; I don't know if any of them refer to this story, but I doubt it. So long as WWII is still ongoing, this can go anywhere.

Hey, is there a reason why my analyses for this and for All Select #2 haven't been included?

If I'm doing something wrong, let me know. I'd like to help add a lot more Golden Age comics.

We would prefer to see analyses of books, rather than individual stories from books, but other than that, I don't see that you've done anything wrong. It's just that, right now, a lot of our attention is geared toward the Index.

Got it. I did individual stories because those Golden Age anthologies had several unrelated stories about different characters (not all of them canonical), but I'll stick to Golden Age issues I can analyze in full.
