New Warriors Vol.1 Annual #4

Curiously, NW@ 4 is only listed in the MCP for the Code : Blue crew

First story : New Warriors

Darkling, trapped in the Darkforce Dimension since NW@ 3, frees himself through Asylum's mask and becomes Asylum II. He reaches Mathemanic, Pretty Persuasions, Coronary and Impulse (whose legs have healed) and reforms Psionex as a team of super-heroes, aggressively fighting crime. Some time later, as they deal with gang violence, Psionex meets the New Warriors (Night Thrasher, Kymaera, Firestar, Rage and Turbo II (A)) and Code : Blue, send by the mayor.

The re-forming of Psionex has to take place before their next appeareance in NW 52-53. And since Turbo II (A) joins the New Warriors rookie team in NW 51, I would place this story just after NW 51

Second story : Speedball

Robbie has a bad day at school : the guidance counselor Mr. French warns him he could have to take his sophomore year over again, and Chuck Farley bullies him. He follows him home to make him pay as Speedball, but discovers Chuck's father hits him.

It's the real Speedball here, not Darrion Grobe, so this story has to happen before NW 50, maybe just before the Again and Again cross-over

Third story : Firestar

NW@ 4/3-FB : Angelica's friend Jupiter asks her to go with her at a party. There, Jupiter leaves Angelica to go with a boy, but she seems distressed when she comes back. On the way home, Jupiter reveals the boy forced her to have sex with him. Later, Angelica comes back at the party as Firestar, follows the guy's car, hits him and seems to use her powers on him.
NW@ 4/3 : at 2 AM, Nova finds Firestar crying at the Warriors HQ. She tells him her story and reveals she couldn't use her powers on the boy.
