THOR: WOLVES OF THE NORTH (February, 2011)

APPEARANCES:
Thor, Hela, Skald (Hela’s demon accomplice), Odin (bts) and a bunch of characters we’ll never see again (Thorvald (Viking chief, dies), Einar (his daughter, becomes new chief), Bram, and a priest (dies)

SYNOPSIS:
Vikings battle attacking demons, but their chief is mortally wounded. When they return to their village the chief names his daughter Einar the new chief. A priest wants to sacrifice her to Hela to make the demons go away but Einar refuses. Thor appears and explains there’s a war in Asgard; Hela has teamed with a demon army to attack Asgard from Earth, but she’s sabotaged Bifrost and only Thor could be sent through to defeat her. Thor takes a lock of Einar’s hair to anchor him to Earth and leads some Vikings to battle Hela and her demons. Einar stays behind because if she’s injured, so will Thor be. The priest attacks Einar and Thor falls before Hela. Skald moves in to finish Thor, but he takes too long knocking him around and Thor regroups, defeating Skald. Hela retreats. Later, Thor and Einar celebrate the victory with some special happy-fun-time-for-adults-only-horizontal-mambo-hugging.
