SYNOPSIS:
It’s Illyana’s birthday and Kitty’s sad that she’s dead. She and Professor X chat about it. Meanwhile, some guy’s sad that his family is dead, and he blames mutants. He unknowingly makes a deal with Mephisto; the demon then attacks the X-Men with alternate reality versions of the mutants. After a big fight the X-Men eventually win.

X-MEN UNLIMITED #38 (November, 2002)

SYNOPSIS:
On the one year anniversary of Colossus’ death, Kitty feels sad until she thinks she sees Colossus on the street. She calls Nightcrawler and gets mad when he asks if she imagined it. She skips class for a day to try and find him again. She does, but it’s not Colossus; he just looks like him. Later, Nightcrawler chats with her about it and she feels better. Later, Kitty makes friends with the lookalike.

X-MEN UNLIMITED #39 (January, 2003)

FLASHBACK:
Storm attends a funeral for a mutant teen who killed himself, and is shocked to see Magneto there as well.
SYNOPSIS:
Storm and Magneto have a discussion about the inherent nobility of humans vs. mutants.

2nd story:

APPEARANCES:
Storm, Wolverine, Sunfire

SYNOPSIS:
Storm flies into Japan to meet Wolverine. Sunfire tries to flag her down to let her know of some new rules Japan’s government enacted, but she picks a fight and won’t listen to Sunfire. Wolverine calms them down and Sunfire leaves, but Storm’s still acting like a real A-Hole for some reason.

3rd story:

Oops. I thought it was him on page 16, but with mis-colored hair. But his clothes don't match, so I guess he's really not in there. Good catch!

It would be simple enough (more-or-less), since I've got the collections and they DO form a continuity... but for the fact that I have no idea which random issues most of them originally saw print in...
