NOTE:
By the time the zombie heroes show up, this is already past the divergence point between the APE-VERSE and the ZOMBIE APE-VERSE. Therefore, these are divergent zombies from the Zombie-verse, but they’re not from the Ape-verse or the zombie Ape-verse, but yet another reality.

FLASHBACK:
In the Zombie-verse: The Avengers infect other heroes. In the Zombie-Infection-verse: The Fantastic Four plan to look into alternate realities to infect, but decide to attack their reality’s Atlantis first. Giant-Man and Wasp, having followed the Fantastic Four at small size, use the Fantastic Four’s teleporter to search for other realities. They find a universe of ape heroes and gather some other zombies to attack it with (bookends M/APES DIG).
SYNOPSIS:
In the Zombie Ape-verse: The zombie heroes attack the apes, eating them and turning them into zombies. Speedball (the ape one) and his friends use a teleporter (with the help of zombie Mr. Fantastic and the uninfected Magneto) travel back in time four days, diverging realities; one where the infection never spread to the ape-verse and the other one where it did. Later, the Ape-verse continues as normal. Later in the Zombie-verse, the Fantastic Four decide to look into other realities to infect.

NOTE:
The zombie Fantastic Four contact another Fantastic Four; this FF had to be contacted before the zombie Fantastic Four contacted the ultimate Fantastic Four.
