ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR #54 (July, 2008)

SYNOPSIS:
Invisible Woman visits the old Think Tank members and learns a giant egg hatched, but whatever was inside it is gone. She takes a sample and returns to the Baxter Building; someone watches her as she leaves. Col. Prof. Agatha Harkness, agent of SHIELD, performs psychological interviews with the Fantastic Four. A building almost collapses in New York City so the Fantastic Four respond, but the new Oregon super hero team Salem’s Seven arrives and stops them.

SYNOPSIS:
Salem’s Seven threatens the Fantastic Four to let them save the building; the Fantastic Four lets them. Col. Prof. Agatha Harkness interviews the Fantastic Four some more. Sue tells Reed she wants to put their relationship on hold so she can screw a bunch of guys. Harkness interrupts so she can show Sue why she’s evaluating the Fantastic Four; she takes her to a warehouse where she turns into Salem’s Seven and beats the crap out of Sue and throw her in the river. Namor swims by and picks her up.

SYNOPSIS:
Sue wakes up in Namor’s house underwater; he tells her that the Hydra destroyed Atlantis and Sue figures out that Agatha Harkness is the Hydra and Salem’s Seven. Meanwhile, Agatha Harkness enters the Baxter Building and Dr. Storm tries to arrest her (he figured out she isn’t really a SHIELD agent). She defeats the guards and abducts Johnny. Reed notices Sue is missing, so he calls the former Think Tank kids, then finds Agatha with Johnny in the vehicle bay. Agatha beats up Reed and Ben and leaves. Meanwhile, the Think Tank kids finds hundreds of eggs.

Namor and Sue return to the Baxter Building and revive Reed and Ben. Meanwhile, Salem’s Seven attacks the Think Tank kids. The Fantastic Four put a plan together and fly to Oregon. Salem’s Seven plans to use Johnny’s flames to jump start their reproductive process. The Fantastic Four arrive and while Namor attacks the eggs Sue alter’s Salem Seven’s biology, making them explode. Sue decides to stay in a relationship with Reed after all.
NOTE:
All member of Salem Seven are actually one character: Hydra. “Agatha Harkness” is an alias for the Hydra, and she isn’t really a psychiatrist or a Colonel or a SHIELD agent.
