FLASHBACK:
Frank Simpson is selling the super soldier serum in his blood to foreign countries. When North Korea creates a super soldier, Captain America storms in and attacks. Simpson kills the super soldier and leaves. Cap tries to stop him, but Frank easily defeats Cap.
SYNOPSIS:
Frank Simpson taunts Captain America and prepares to kill him.

ULTIMATE CAPTAIN AMERICA #2 (April, 2011)

FLASHBACK:
Frank Simpson undergoes super soldier enhancements and serves in Vietnam. In 1972 he defects and isn’t heard from again until recently, when he starts selling his super soldier serum to foreign countries.
SYNOPSIS:
Captain America wakes up two days later ad Carol Danvers explains who Frank Simpson is. He starts looking for Frank in Cambodia and eventually finds a hidden village filled with enhanced villagers. Cap is overpowered and Frank Simpson arrives and says hello.

ULTIMATE CAPTAIN AMERICA #3 (May, 2011)

SYNOPSIS:
Frank Simpson gives Captain America a history lesson on America’s foreign policy over the last forty years that lasts weeks. At one point SHIELD agents are captured by Simpson’s army; he interrogates, tortures and kills the SHIELD agents. When Captain America doesn’t admit that America has made some mistakes in the past, Frank decides to kill Cap. He prepares to do it (repeated from issue #1), and then moves in for the kill.

ULTIMATE CAPTAIN AMERICA #4 (June, 2011)

SYNOPSIS:
Captain America notices there’s a snake in his holding cell. Frank Simpson moves in to kill Cap (repeated from issue #3) and Cap spit poison in Frank’s face. Cap beats the tar out of Frank and tells him he already knew everything Simpson was telling him about for weeks, and that he doesn’t care about any of it. Later, Cap catches up with Hawkeye, then later still starts reading the bible to the captive Frank Simpson.
