There’s a coupe of ‘remembrance’ Flashbacks, but nothing with any new information.
The Orb keeps referring to himself as the ‘All-New Orb’ and mentions his ‘All-New Repulsor Ray’. This could mean he is a new Orb, or he’s just upgraded. The last Orb is assumed dead as of Solo Avengers 21, but the Orb appeared later in the Deadline mini. Is this the same Orb, meaning Drake Shannon? Is this the same Orb from the Deadline mini? Who knows?
Dan is working under orders from Zadkiel, giving him a BTS

Thanks, Colonel. Any idea how much time has passed since issue #25?

Re: Ghost Rider v6 26-27
There might be a clue in the injury that incapacitated this Orb. A wooden board with nails gets stuck into the giant eye's pupil. The Orb falls down screaming. Shannon was just a regular guy wearing a helmet in the form of an eyeball. That injury should not have heart him. This Orb acts as if the giant eyeball is real rather than a mere helmet.Col_Fury wrote:The Orb keeps referring to himself as the ‘All-New Orb’ and mentions his ‘All-New Repulsor Ray’. Re: Ghost Rider v6 26-27
There's no mention at all, which doesn't help you at the moment but will most likely be useful in the future whenever Ghost Rider crosses over with something else. Also, it leaves things pretty open between issues 25 & 26, in case we need any Ghost Rider guest appearances from other books to go since they've already established that he's been driving all over the country during that time in the recent Annual #2. So yeah, both helpful and not helpful at the same time.Paul Bourcier wrote:Thanks, Colonel. Any idea how much time has passed since issue #25?
Sure, unless the nails on that board were long enough to go through the helmet and stick into his face.dimadick wrote:There might be a clue in the injury that incapacitated this Orb. The guys over at the Appendix have been trying to figure this new Orb out. So they asked the writers...
According to Bill Rosemann, writer of Deadline #2, the Orb in that story was supposed to be the original Orb, who is not dead after all
According to Jason Aaron, writer of Ghost Rider #26, the Orb in that story is intended to be a new character who indeed has a giant eyeball in place of his head
