Flashback in Moon Knight #20
Most of the main story in 2008's MOON KNIGHT #20 is a flashback involving Moon Knight and a captive Jack Russell whose blood was used to change fighters into lupine creatures for entertainment. This was supposed to happen in "1994," which either means it's supposed to be fourteen years ago Marvel time or it happens around the time of other stories published in 1994. Does anyone have a placement for this flashback for both Moon Knight and Werewolf?

Re: Flashback in Moon Knight #20
Isn't it a retelling of Werewolf by Night #32, Moon Knight's first appearance? That's the impression I was under...
However, I have no idea how it would mesh with WBN 32. Anyone with both comics want to take a stab at it?

MOON KNIGHT #20 also includes reprints of WBN 32-33. The flashback in the main story is not the same.

I had forgotten about that thread, but although it was brought up, the issue of placement appears unresolved. Does anyone have ideas for specific placement?

Does Moon Knight wear armor in the fb? Any mention of the Shadow Cabinet?
If you remember how writers and artists handled Moon Knight in the early 1990's, some people felt that the Moon Knight concept ended up unnecessarily "Batman-ized" after the release of the 1989 Batman film; Moon Knight was depicted wearing armor similar to that in the 1989 Batman film, received his own flying vehicle similar to the Batwing which he piloted himself (which made his long-time pilot companion Frenchie a tad superfluous). Also, in a nod to the Shadow, Moon Knight set up a group of contacts called the Shadow Cabinet.

Near as I can determine, the Shadow Cabinet debuted in Moon Knight III#39 in 1992. The armor debuted around that time.

For some scans on how Moon Knight's outfit looked around 1992
I mention this as a story gap occurs between Moon Knight III#38 and Moon Knight III#39 that would serve as a nice place to fit this for Moon Knight.

Re: Flashback in Moon Knight #20
Thanks for your feedback, enda. There's no armor or Shadow Cabinet in the flashback. Spector actually donned that armor in MK3 38, not 39. MK3 38 occurs "six weeks" after MK3 37, so that would allow time. However, if we didn't want to stick the flashback into the middle of a story arc, then it would have to go before MK3 35. Any objections to placement between MK3 34 and 35?
