Wouldn't pp.1-8 be the present-day stuff, and everything else be the flashback?

If by [introduction] you mean this is their first appearances, you are incorrect in most of those cases.

Not sure if Reese is a new character - if he's a pre-existing one I can't place him off the top of my head. And I think Winsor is new.

Two others also in the issue.

Scavenger http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/scaveng2.htm
Yi Yang http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/yiyang.htm

The one with the patched eye may be Immortalis http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix2/immortalismg.htm but he has the patch on the wrong side since it was his left eye he lost.

It is Immortalis. Chalk the patch being on the wrong side as down to an art error.

So can we get an updated analysis, with a complete list of characters and chronology notes, an indication of what part really is the flashback, a sense of time passage within the issue (and any references to other events in the MU, if there), and a sense of the plot?

Well, in his dialogue with Reese in the car he talks about the guys calling him a dog which is what the guys in page 1-8 did, so I assume pages 9 to the end occur after and that pages 1-8 is Wolverine telling a past story to the driver.

p 16 Winsor infects the Corruptor in a lab
p 17-22 Winsor infects Wolverine in the disco under the eyes of four others incl. Madcap, Scavenger, Yiyang, Immortalis.

Synopsis: While being driven Wolverine tells of a recent fight vs the Griz and how he got dressed with the shirt he's wearing. His driver, Driver Reese arrives at a disco and invites Wolverine.
Meanwhile 4 mysterious characters recover another from a sandpit.
Somebody called Winsor infects the Corruptor
In the disco Winsor infects Wolverine under the eyes of Madcap, Scavenger, Immortalis and Yiyang. Wolverine starts stabbing himself in the gut.

#2
pp 1-3 Beast and Logan discuss his infection (by Corruptor's gland)

Yi Yang kisses him. He stabs her. Marjorie Brink leads him to a cell where they're joined by Winsor's crew. Wolverine wakes up tied to a chair facing Flip in a laboratory full of jars with body parts (+ Corruptor and John Wraith), Winsor explains the situation, either Wolverine kills Flip or provides his help to cure him.

#4
Continuing story without break
Marjorie Brink, Yi Yang, Scavenger take turns submitting Wolverine to physical trauma to study his healing abilities. Winsor creates an allergy to adamantium virus.

#5
Continued from last story w/o break
Winsor submits Wolverine to several allergies. Marjorie Brink reports on the mental effects. Madcap brings Wolverine to his cell. Flip tells Wolverine how to get free, then Wolverine fights Vic Slaughter, Scavenger, Chris Daniels, Mortigan Goth who flees and faces Yi Yang.

#6
Wolverine guts Yi Yang. He doesn't fight with Mortigan Goth, nor with Madcap. He spares Brinks when she attacks as she is controlled by Winsor with Corruptor. Winsor heaps contagions upon contagion on Wolverine who frees Corruptor and tells Winsor to heal himself. Corruptor wants vengeance on Winsor. Brinks heals Harry Sikes who regains his sanity. But Wolverine is deathly sick.

This is the end of the arc but Wolverine is still sick in the next one from the cover sollicitation, which shows him with Beast.

At this point, it's still mysterious so don't start asking for a clear sense of what's going on. We'll find out more as the next issues arrive.
In that case, I recommend waiting until the mini is wrapped up and then submitting an analysis of the whole thing. Thanks.

If I had waited I would not have benefited from others' remarks and contributions. I'll make it known when I have a complete storyline likeI have with the other series I've been keeping track of. Be patient. Thanks

Actually, you would have just benefited from them later.

I also vote for waiting until arcs are done before submitting reviews. It's a good practice in general.
