Does anyone know if the Captain America: The Fighting Avenger one-shot is meant to be in-continuity? Or is it, like the Captain America: First Vengeance miniseries, going to be set in the continuity of the upcoming movie instead?
The solicitation makes it sound interesting but I got caught by the recent Magneto one-shot and am a bit leery. Having the word "Avenger" in the title of a comic about Cap's "first mission of World War II" makes it sound suspiciously like the movie.

It was intended to be a sister-project to Thor: The Mighty Avenger. After that was cancelled, it was cut down - initially to a mini, ultimately to a one-shot.

Okay, Thor: The Mighty Avenger was a more kid-friendly take on the Odinson's adventures which was set in its own universe. So the Fighting Avenger one-shot is NOT set on Earth-616, and the completist in me shouldn't feel compelled to buy it. That's a relief.Somebody wrote:It was intended to be a sister-project to Thor: The Mighty Avenger. After that was cancelled, it was cut down - initially to a mini, ultimately to a one-shot.
