Hulk Smash Avengers 5

Yes, it's in the past, around Hulk (2008) #2-3
Banner still in prison says to Iron Man "This new Hulk. The Red Hulk. He's been attacking you-- and SHIELD--stealing equipement--whenever he feels like it. Your new team of quote-unquote Mighty Avengers can't catch him.
We see the following Mighty Avengers fighting Red Hulk: Wonder Man; Ares; Sentry; Ms. Marvel; Black Widow

KING-SIZE HULK #1 (July 2008)
-what happens in the first story?
Banner still in his cell analyzes the Red Hulk then General Ross reads his report. (This happens after Red Hulk leaves the Hellicarier in free fall, but before he attacks A-Bomb on the last three pgs. of H4 #2)

H4 #2 last three pages need to take place place after pg.1-4 of H4 #3 (Where the Hellicarrier has gone down)

King-Size Hulk #1-FB
Red Hulk sets up camp (in Alaska or Canada) on his way to Russia, after killing a deer with his gun. His eating attracts a Wendigo, which he kills and leaves as a warning to other Wendigo, who later devour that Wendogo's body. (This takes place after he becomes Red Hulk and Before #1)

So for Red Hulk
H4 23 (26-28)-FB (becomes Red Hulk)
KSH 1-fb (on his way to Russia)
H4 1
H4 3-fb (video of Ross and Samson talking to Bruce as reviewed by Iron Man in H4 #3 (1-7))
H4 2 (1-3)
KSH 1/2 (2-6) (fight with She-Hulk on Hellicarrier)
H4 2 (4)-BTS
KSH 1/2 (7)
H4 2 (5-6)
KSH 1/2 (8)
H4 2 (8-20)
H4 3 (1-5) *no Red Hulk but must precede H4 2 (21-23)
KSH 1 (Ross reads Banners report)
H4 2 (21-23)
H4 3 (5-23)

SPIDER-GIRL v2 #1-3 (January-March 2011)
-published same months as HULK v4 #27-29
To start the narrowing down, this title will be between World War Hulks and Fear Itself. For Spider-Girl it takes place after Young Allies, but before Giant-Size Avengers Academy. It's part of the "Big Time" arc in Amazing Spider-Man.

The first spot this could go in would be between H4 30 and H4 30.1 (Human Torch and the rest of the FF appear hear as well) So before FF 588

The Thunderbolt Ross that appears in HULK v4 #1-6 is an LMD, and that LMD is killed/destroyed/whatever in FoH: Gamma. The Intelligencia put this LMD in place so people wouldn't suspect Ross of being the Red Hulk.

Is the Thunderbolt Ross that appears in KING-SIZE HULK #1 this LMD?

That lines up with publication dates, and H4 30.1 starts another story that runs through H4 36. I think this is the best spot for SG2 1-3.

The Ross LMD thing got me thinking, so how's this look for a chronology:

ROSS, GEN. THADDEUS "THUNDERBOLT" L.M.D.
H4 1
KSH 1
H4 3
H4 6
H4 23-FB
H2 600
FOH: GAMMA (1:2)-FB
FOH: GAMMA (1:4)-FB
FOH: GAMMA (2:1)-FB
H4 23 (32:2)-FB
FOH: GAMMA (2:2-2:4)-FB
FOH: GAMMA (3-5)-FB
H4 23 (32:3-32:6)-FB
FOH: GAMMA

H4 30.1-36 involves Gen. Fortean chasing Red Hulk. Red Hulk can't sleep because Fortean has injected Hulk with bombs (if he reverts to Ross Fortean will be able to tell and blow him up). Hulk finds a workaround in H4 36, so he really shouldn't make any other appearances between H4 30.1-36. Am I wrong in thinking Red Hulk joins the Avengers after H4 36?

Looking at War Machine's chronology, it looks like H4 42-46 should happen before Spider-Island.

VENOM v2 #11-12 lead in to VENOM v2 #13-14. VENOM v2 #13 was published the same month as HULK v4 #48, so I'm thinking VENOM v2 #13-14 should happen between H4 48-49.

For future reference, H4 49 guest stars the Eternals, and should happen after THOR: DEVIANT SAGA #1-5.

Putting all of this together:

RED HULK/GEN. THADDEUS "THUNDERBOLT" ROSS

Is the Thunderbolt Ross that appears in KING-SIZE HULK #1 this LMD?
I'm unsure, Red Hulk attacks A-Bomb outside of Gamma Base, after leaving the Hellicarrier. So it could or couldn't be him. Your call.

Didn't Red Hulk join the Avengers the same time as Storm?

My mistake, They were just letting Vision know that they had a Red Hulk on the team now.

SKAAR: KING OF THE SAVAGE LAND #5 (September 2011)
-published same month as HULK v4 #36-37, with Avengers
This series takes place after Skaar has come to an understanding with his father. (no longer trying to kill him and goes to stay in the Savage Land). Red Hulk is seen here as a member of the Avengers, with Wolverine, Thor, and Steve Rogers in the Super Soldier outfit. (So I'm thinking after Red Hulk joins the Avengers and before Fear Itself.)

Colonel Fury, sir:

It occurs to me that the Red Hulk also made an early appearance in the first story in the now-famous ASM 583(Spidey meets Obama issue), as one of a series of villains Spidey encounters in the week before the presidential inauguration presented in the issue's second story....I seem to recall that they battle in NYC/some other big urban center(it surprised me to see the Red Hulk so far from his regular Southwestern haunts for no apparent reason so soon after his battle with A-Bomb).

Hope this helps

DAKEN: DARK WOLVERINE #9.1 (July 2011)
-published same month as HULK v4 #33, with Avengers
I don't see Red Hulk in this issue. It's after Siege and before Fear Itself, because of the part of Asgard on the roof of the tower, and features Avenger's Wolverine, Thor, Iron Man, Steve Rogers in his Super Soldier outfit, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, and Hawkeye.

This is probably a reference to World War Hulks story line.
