A 16 and JIM 116

Post by Chris McCarver »

Hope no one minds me doing these two at once, since they interweave for both of the characters involved (the Enchantress and the Executioner).

Largely going off the sequence of events as presented in M/SAGA 19 (story segments not specifically involving Amora and Skurge marked by brackets):

A 16 (1-4): During a fight between the Avengers and the Masters of Evil (continued from A 15), Thor attempts to transport the Avengers and the Masters to an alternate dimension in order to keep their fight from harming bystanders. Amora and Skurge evade Thor's dimensional portal and flee into the city.

[A 16 (6:4-8): Iron Man, Giant-Man, and Wasp conduct a meeting, wherein Wasp mentions that Thor mentioned the Trial of the Gods before surreptitiously leaving. Hawkeye then arrives to petition for Avengers membership.]

[A 16 (9:5-12:3): Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch read of the news that the Avengers are accepting membership applications and decide to apply. The Avengers hold a press conference announcing Hawkeye as their new member, then meet to go through the membership applications.]

[A 16 (12:4-13:3): Cap and Rick Jones make their way out of South America. ]

JIM 116 (1-6): Odin sends Thor and Loki to Skornheim endure the Trial of the Gods. Shortly after their arrival, Loki reveals (using a real-time illusion) that he sent Amora and Skurge to abduct Jane Foster to throw Thor off his game.

JIM 116 (7-8:2): Balder informs Odin of Jane's abduction and shows him a real-time image of Jane being chased by Amora and Skurge. Odin dispatches Balder to stop Amora and Skurge.

[A 16 (13:3-15:4): Tony Stark picks up Pietro and Wanda at the airport and transports them to Avengers Mansion.]

[A 16 (15:5-18:1): Cap and Rick arrive back in the States and return to Avengers Mansion, only to learn that the current Avengers are taking leave in favor of their three new recruits.]

JIM 116 (11:2-12:5): Amora and Skurge catch Jane. A crowd of bystanders try to rescue her but Amora and Skurge easily subdue them. A Teen Brigade member tries to radio for help.

A 16 (18:3): A collection of headshots of Amora, Skurge, Kang, the Mole Man, and the Mandarin reacting to the news that the Avengers are soon to announce a new roster. (presuming this placement since M/SAGA 19 seems to gloss over this)

JIM 116 (12:6-14): The current Avengers roster conduct one last meeting, but leave just before the radio call comes in. The Teen Brigadier then unsuccessfully tries to flag down a passing Daredevil (who is hunting down Namor as seen in DD 7), then calls the Baxter Building, but the FF aren't home (since they were rendered powerless in FF 38). The Frightful Four fly past the Baxter Building tempted to take it over, but they mistake an arriving Balder for the Human Torch and flee. Balder assumes a mortal disguise, then takes to the street and confronts Amora and Skurge.

Therefore, on both Amora and Skurge:

[...]
A 16 (1 - 4)
JIM 116 (1 - 12:5)
A 16 (18:3)
JIM 116 (12:6 - 14)
[...]

Speaking of A 16, this issue has two flashbacks that we probably need to distinguish on individual listings (wasn't sure if we were supposed to be doing page citations for issues with multiple flashbacks, so ignore this if it wasn't an aim):

ANGEL III/WARREN KENNETH WORTHINGTON III
[...]
A 16 (10:3)-FB
[...]

BEAST/HENRY PHILLIP "HANK" MCCOY
[...]
A 16 (10:3)-FB
[...]

BLACK WIDOW II/NATALIA ALIANOVNA "NATASHA" ROMANOVA
[...]
A 16 (8:1-8:2)-FB
[...]

ICEMAN/ROBERT LOUIS "BOBBY" DRAKE
[...]
A 16 (10:3)-FB
[...]

QUICKSILVER/PIETRO MAXIMOFF
[...]
A 16 (10:3)-FB
[...]

SCARLET WITCH/WANDA MAXIMOFF
[...]
A 16 (10:3)-FB
[...]

Hawkeye also appears in the same flashback as Black Widow, but he has page citations already.

This belongs in a thread about DD 7, not A 16 or JIM 116.
I can't promise you that things will improve, if we make changes;
I can promise you that they won't improve, if we don't.
