ULTIMATE ELEKTRA #1 (October, 2004)

SYNOPSIS:
Elektra’s dad agrees to go into business with his cousins to rebuild his store. Meanwhile, Matt andFoggy get internships with famous lawyer Walter Savage. Later, Foggy tells Matt that Elektra’s dad is unwittingly involved in the mob. Matt meets Elektra and offers his help. The Natchios cousins’ accountant goes to Savage to make a deal with the police, offering incriminating evidence against the Kingpin. Elektra goes to the Natchios cousins to buy off her father’s debt, not knowing they were meeting with the Kingpin. Meanwhile, the Natchios cousins have sent some goons to kill the accountant.

ULTIMATE ELEKTRA #2 (November, 2004)

FLASHBACK:
Elektra follows the Kingpin (between pages 10-11).
SYNOPSIS:
Elektra leaves the Kingpin meeting, but spies on them. Kingpin says if they don’t take care of the accountant he’ll just kill everyone involved. Meanwhile, Matt secretly foils the assassination. The Natchios cousins put a plan together. The next day, Matt overhears that the Natchios family is involved in the assassination attempt. Elektra tries to find a job with no luck. Leander finds her and says he has a way to erase her father’s debt, but if she fails he’ll kill her. She poses as a prostitute and tries to steal the accountant’s ledger, but Kingpin’s assassin Bullseye kills the accountant.

ULTIMATE ELEKTRA #3 (December, 2004)

SYNOPSIS:
Bullseye finds Elektra, but she escapes. Meanwhile, Matt investigates the accountant’s case. Savage learns the accountant has been killed, but doesn’t seem to mind. Elektra returns home but the police arrive (on an anonymous tip from Bullseye). The police arrest her father. Bullseye burns the ledger. Savage contacts Kingpin and tells him he has a copy of the ledger, and blackmails him. Elektra finds her cousins and threatens to kill them. Matt arrives and stops her, offering a new plan.

ULTIMATE ELEKTRA #4 (January, 2005)

SYNOPSIS:
Elektra and Matt interrogate Leander, and learn Bullseye is the assassin and how to find him. When they go through Bullseye’s stuff and learn Bullseye will be killing Walter Savage today. They try to stop the assassination and fail, but they do retrieve the ledger. Elektra knocks out Matt and leaves on her own.

ULTIMATE ELEKTRA #5 (February, 2005)

FLASHBACK:
Dimitris is released from jail, Bullseye and the Natchios cousins are arrested.
SYNOPSIS:
Kingpin sends his men to find the missing ledger. Elektra visits her dad in jail and tells him she’s going to fix everything. Later, Matt visits Elektra’s dad and figures out what she’s planning. Elektra goes to Kingpin and gives him the ledger in exchange for her dad’s release. Kingpi says she has to fight Bullseye for that to happen. Elektra defeats Bullseye. Later, Matt visits Elektra and tells her he found evidence that would have cleared her dad; if she had waited for him she could have got everything she wanted without having to associate with the Kingpin. Matt leaves.
