By Brian Michael Bendis & David Lafuente

APPEARANCES:
Spider-Man, Mary Jane Watson, Shroud (Kitty Pryde), Gwen Stacy, May Parker, Human Torch, Kingpin, Mysterio

Peter Parker hates working at a fast food restaurant. Meanwhile, Mary Jane files a video report for her high school, talking about how it’s been six months since the Ultimatum War. Later, a mystery vigilante stop a robbery. Spider-Man swings by afterward and is still surprised the police still like him. He goes home, makes out with Gwen, chats with Aunt May and learns that Kitty is looking for him. Johnny Storm arrives and passes out. Meanwhile, the Kingpin returns to New York and is apparently killed by Mysterio.

The mystery vigilante is revealed to be Kitty Pryde in a new identity, “the Shroud” in ULTSM2 6.

This issue’s indicia says “Ultimate Comics Spider-Man No. 1.” Every other issue of this volume says in the indicia “Ultimate Spider-Man.” As far as I’ve been able to find, this is the only issue of post-Ultimatum new Ultimate (something) volumes where this happens.

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN v2 #15 (December, 2010)
By Brian Michael Bendis & Sara Pichelli

NOTE:
Well, the younger of the two Bombshells is called “Lana” again, so I guess the first time (“Lori”) was the mistake.

This whole volume happens in a fairly short timeframe. If there’s ever a need for one, the only breaks I can find are a few days between issues #8-9 and possibly a few days during issue #11, but really, there’s not much of a break during these 15 issues.

Human Torch appears in Ultimate Avengers #2. It’s made very clear that ULTSM2 1 is Johnny’s next appearance after Ultimatum. So, this volume happens before Ultimate Avengers starts.

There’s a gap of time between ULTSM2 15 and ULTSM 150 (the next issue), so that’s nice.

Sometime after this, Spider-Man’s house (with Gwen Stacy living there) is blown up in Ultimate Enemy. The last issue of Ultimate Enemy/Mystery/Doom comes out the same months as ULTSM 156, so I’m guessing things line up around there, somewhere.

Jessica Drew's not on your cast list there. Which one's wrong? And are all the other issues right, especially since you list Spider-Woman for #9, but don't have that in her continuity list:

Good eye, Somebody!

That's Jessica Jones in #3 (and the others); she works with Mary Jane at the school newspaper.

Spider-Woman is in #9; she's even on the cover.

I've fixed it in the first post. Thanks!
