CALL FOR ANALYSIS: Ultimate

Post by Col_Fury »

This is a call for analysis for books that take place in the Ultimate universe before the Hunger/Cataclysm event. Please look over the list and let us know if there’s anything you can help out on by submitting an analysis.

This list will be updated to reflect volunteers. Once an analysis is submitted, the book will be crossed off this list. Once the book makes it into the MCP listings, the book will be removed from this list.

Nothing left!

Any help that people can provide is greatly appreciated. As always, thanks to all who post in this forum!

Great timing, Chris! I'll be taking a little break from the Ultimate stuff while I get caught up on other things.

In case anyone is interested in covering them, I don't have any of these comics:

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN ½, 33-133 (2002-2009)
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL 1-3 (2005-2008)
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN SUPER SPECIAL 1 (2002)
ULTIMATE X-MEN ½, 1-100 (2001-2009)
ULTIMATE X-MEN ANNUAL 1-2 (2005-2006)

Before I get into the Ultimate Comics volumes, I'll probably do these first (at some point in the future):

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN 150-160 (2011)
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN v2 1-15 (2009-2010)

But if anyone beats me to them (or anything on the call list), it's not like I'll cry about it. Feel free, anyone!

For the Ultimate Comics volumes, we'll be using these abbreviations:

ULTIMATE COMICS HAWKEYE 1-4 (2011-2012) - ULTCHAWK
ULTIMATE COMICS IRON MAN 1-4 (2012-2013) - ULTCIM
ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN 1-16, 16.1, 17-28, 200 (2011-2014) - ULTCSM
ULTIMATE COMICS ULTIMATES 1-18, 18.1, 19-30 (2011-2013) - ULTCULTS
ULTIMATE COMICS WOLVERINE 1-4 (2013) - ULTCW
ULTIMATE COMICS X-MEN 1-33 (2011-2013) - ULTCXM

I case anyone's interested.

Thanks! :)

Aren't most of the comics in the white-banner cover dress era technically "Ultimate Comics..." rather than "Ultimate..."? And the later series that do have "Ultimate Comics" on the cover are "Ultimate Comics: ..."?

The post-Ultimatum white-banner cover dress volumes don't say "Comics" in the indicia or on the covers.

The post-Death of Spider-Man "Comics" cover dress volumes *DO* say "Comics" in the indicia and on the covers (no colon in the indicia that I've seen, by the way).

I've seen various websites list the post-Ultimatum white-banner cover dress volumes the way you describe, but I have no idea why.

Not a problem, Daron... I got an analysis for ULTSM 0.5 ready to post as well (and ignore my "ULTIM3" abbreviation on the Iron Man mini analysis).

Ah, the solicits.

That explains why certain sites have them listed as they do, but the physical comics didn't end up that way.

Thanks!

Time for the monthly check in, but I'm sorry to say the holiday season go the best of us and we haven't added any more Ultimate books to the MCP since the last check in.

Happy new year, everyone. I hope your 2015 is better than your 2014! :)

I'm gonna work on ULTXM, unfortunately issue #1/2 isn't on Unlimited. The rest is though. I'll be posting the first arc here in a sec.
