Criti Noll in early Av: Initiative

There's definitely something wrong with this sequence:-

For a start A:I 14 (1:3 - 2:4)-FB is connected to a sequence from A:I 2 not A:I 3. The action is Yellowjacket taking down a Hydra terror-carrier (their version of a SHIELD helicarrier) on p19-20 of #2. In #14 p1:1-1:2 is a straight reshoot of #2's p19 so you don't mention it. p1:3-2:4 of #14 then shows how the Skrull survived.

In fact that part of the sequence should be:-

A:I 14 (1:3 - 2:4)-FB
A:I 2 (21 - 22)

CN/YJ isn't in p20:4. p21 starts with the President giving him a medal in panels 1-3, which is mirrored in #14's p2:5. #2 p21:4-22 then goes on to other business. And #14 continues on a different tack.



I can also say that there is no way to split A:I 3 into pages 1-20 and 21-22. Especially for CN/YJ who isn't even in that end of the issue. So that leads to the question of exactly where NW4 4 and FF 547-549 should go. There are other places within A:I 3 where we could make an opening. The issue page for A:I 3 has 3 trainees (Cloud 9, Hardball and Komodo) splitting the issue in 2 parts p1-6:3 and p6:4-22. And they have apps in NW4 4 inserted in between. And only Criti Noll II has the spurious break between p20 and p21, with NW4 4 and the other stuff put in there. Also the Calendar has the whole NW4 series in the earlier gap.

Thus I propose to bring CN II into line with the trainees:-

While looking for clues about FF 547-549 I discovered that you are implementing my 'Dr Doom in prison' (mega)suggestion. The character chronologies have been updated, but the changes are not yet reflected in the issue pages. (I learned recently that you update the issue pages some time after the chronologies. And there's a lot of change going on at the moment.)

But I also noticed that you've changed my plan a bit, which I must admit does resolve the weakest point of my rationale behind the scheme. Invisible Woman and Mr Fantastic are supposed to be away on Titan from FF 544-550 for a 2nd honeymoon to repair the rift in their marriage caused by Civil War. You already had Reed returning to Earth in the middle for Mighty Avengers 6. But my changes put a load of other apps by Reed and/or Sue in that region too. I spun a complicated scenario which had them flitting between Earth and Titan at will.

You've cut the Gordian tangle by pulling FF 547-550 also back before MA 6, and before the duo's other apps. So they only go to Titan and return once.

This is directly relevant to the situation here. A quick check of Iron Man's chronology confirms that the Doom changes are in there too. But also that A:I 2 is still after MA 6 (and the rest of the associated NA and MA issues). So the Doom change should also move FF 547-549 completely out of the Avengers: Initiative section of Criti Noll II's chronology.

The FF issues (along with other apps of the FF characters) now lie between the Fallen Son complex and MA 1-11 (and related New Avengers issues). The only apps of Skrull imposters like Criti Noll in that gap are MA 17 and SECINV:FF 3-FB. The FF entry doesn't help because it just shows the Skrulls recruiting Lyja. And MA 17 is where CN II replaces CN I. However FF 547 shows CN/YJ working at a functioning Camp Hammond, but they only started building it after Civil War. So I'll put the issues as far ahead as I can get them before MA 3.
