First, since a sleeping Odin DOES appear in T 432, that appearance should not be listed as BTS.

Second, I'm assumig that IG 2 is what you meant to add to Odin's chronology. If so, you'd be half-right. You're right in that it was supposed to be Odin who appeared in IG #2 but wrong since the "Odin" who did appear in that issue COULD NOT have been the real Odin.

In THOR 432, Loki deliberately provoked Thor into killing him. The shock of this crime seemed to jolt Odin out of his Odin-sleep and he ordered Heimdall to punish Thor. Respecting Thor's wish that the mortal realm not be left undefended (and since Thor and Eric Masterson had been time-sharing a single body), Heimdall chose to secretly imprison Thor within Eric's mind while giving Eric the power to become a new Thor.

Eric first transformed into Thor III at the end of T 432. He got a new costume made for himself and went into action for the first time in T 433. When he took part in the INFINITY GAUNTLET storyline, Eric was still trying to pretend that he was the real/original Thor. And in T 434-435, Eric told Captain America who he really was and then went to Asgard to ask Heimdall to bring the real Thor back but instead he ended up rescuing the sleeping Odin from Annihilus, killing Annihilus in the process (at least temporarily).

In IG 5, Annihilus was shown leading a swarm of interdimensional scavengers in an attack on Earth. Even though everything that happened in IG 2-5 was undone by Nebula in IG 6, the fact that Annihilus was shown to be alive and intact in IG 5 means that the whole IG storyline must take place before T 434-435.

Based on these facts, the whole IG storyline must take place, from Eric's perspective, between T 433 and 434. Therefore Odin's appearance in IG 2 must also take place between those two issues. The problem lies in the fact that, as revealed in T 454, at the moment that his physical body was killed by Thor in T 432, Loki's spirit fled to Asgard and usurped the body of the sleeping Odin. From the time that "Odin" awoke from his Odin-sleep and ordered Heimdall to punish Thor (T 432) until Odin was released from Mephisto's soul shroud and reclaimed his own body (T 455), every appearance by "Odin" was actually Loki in Odin's body. I can only asume that the IG 2 appearance MUST also be an example of Loki pretending to be Odin, presumably with the secret help of his ally, the Norn Queen Karnilla.
