The Apocalypse back-up seems to suggest Apocalypse was sequestered on Earth (on an island in the ocean) by the Celestials the entire time he's been gone.

Where do you get that? Celestial tech has always been a thing associated with him, going back to Ship. Seems more like he took what he had when he got back and built a base on this island.

That's possible too. I guess it's also possible he escaped (or something) when all the Celestials were killed over in A7 1-6. Of course, if this story had addressed it we wouldn't have to guess.

Gamora gets the Infinity Gauntlet and instead of halving the universe’s population like Thanos did, she smooshes the Earth’s population together so that it’s half (also, inside the Soul Stone). That means we get combo characters like Soldier Supreme (Captain America plus Doctor Strange), etc. Gamora does this in IWARS 3, and then we get a bunch of minis about these smooshed characters.

So far, IWARS 1-4 happens pretty quickly. Loki is sent to the new smooshed reality in IWARS 3 and starts recruiting smooshed characters in #4. Also, the smooshed characters start to get un-smooshed in IWARS 4.

I'm wondering if DS 390 wouldn't go better being placed before Strange's appearances in A8 1-6, DP7 1-3, and WH 1-2, and after T 702-706 (where he's still a vet). It seems to read better if he winds up the vet practice prior to those appearances, perhaps keeping the placement after ASM 797-801 for Spider-Man.

Also, SM/DP 18 ends with Mephisto preparing to send Weasel back to Earth (Weasel even has his bags packed, literally!). Since Mephisto's plot against Spider-Man failed he now wants to torment Deadpool and begins to tell Weasel his plan.

So yeah, that's my mistake. They didn't address it in DP:ASSN, but they left the door open in SM/DP.

Looks like Nightcrawler begins growing his beard in X-Men Red 4. During pages 1-13 (Wakanda) he's wearing stubble. There's a definite break between pages 13 and 14, where the X-Men are now set up in Atlantis, or some section of it. During pages 14-20 (Atlantis) Kurt has a much fuller beard. Since this is all in the same issue, the art is likely deliberate.

Ororo is next mentioned, but not seen, in Old Man Logan 39, where Dr Reyes tells Logan Storm's off saving the world with Kitty. This should probably go before X:R 1-FB, 2-4 as Storm shouldn't be with anyone other than Jean Grey's group until after X:R 5-9???, X:R 1, although i'm not sure if she appears in Infinity Countdown/Wars as i haven't read those yet.

Good point about OML2 39, and I'm starting to think the non-flashback part of X:R 1 happens in X:R 4's gap as well. Thanks!

Also, no surprises in ASGOG 3, DS5 7, IWARS 5, SGEDDON 3 and X:R 10 that I can see; they all continue their ongoing plots.

DOINHS 5 wraps things up, and as it turns out it doesn't HAVE to happen after FF6 2. Maybe someone else will appear in FF 6 3-4 that makes it necessary, but probably not. Also, as it turns out, only one (royal) Inhuman dies in this mini (a bunch of nameless ones do, though). Should probably still happen after DD 609-612 (unless this is referenced in one of those not-yet-published DD issues, of course).

Oops! My bad. I didn't notice Strange shaved his beard at the end of the issue, but there it is, in glorious subdued colour!

The cloaks may not be an issue - Strange walks past cabinets containing several cloaks, including the blue cloak of protection and the Cloak of Levitation, and he could take whichever cloak he deems best for the job at hand, so if he turns up again in the blue cloak, i don't think it would cause any problems.

Right, he's wearing the red cloak in DS:DAMN (mighty Thor appears) and then the blue cloak in A7 1-6 (mighty Thor no longer around). There's at least a little bit of back-and-forth with the cloaks.

Strange is also wearing the blue cloak, and wielding magic, in Defenders 10, which we have placed in between DS5 1 (1-10), where he's lost his powers, and DS5 1 (11-20), where he goes into space.

Placing DS5 1 (1-10) after DEF5 10 doesn't leave much space for him to go into space "one month later", but we already have DS5 2 immediately after DS5 1 (11-20), even though "73 days" pass between issues. Maybe his chronometer's faulty. Or it's something to do with travelling faster than the speed of light.
