In X-23 v4 #1-5 The Stepford Cuckoos try to place Esme's mind in Gabby's body. They fail, some have a change a heart and at the end of the arc they leave the mansion, Laura says they have been spotted in Paris.

Then we have Iceman v4 #1-5 and in #4 the X-Men are preparing to attend a Mutant Parade. Kitty mentions that Jean and the Cuckoos are scanning the area for terrorists.

If there's nothing impeding it, I would place the X-23 arc after Iceman's arc because of this reference. It feels strange to have the Cuckoos around after what they've done in the X-23 story.

The next appearance of the Cuckoos is Esme in the X-men Holiday Special but that's ok because it's Christmas and her appearance looks to be in Gabby's mindscape to be honest.

Sorry to be spamming with several posts, it's just that I'm currently at this point in my X-read so I keep coming back to this thread whenever I find things that could be discussed. Anyway, here it goes:

Shouldn't Age of X-Man be placed closer to the point when the characters return to the real world?

I mean, as of now, Age of X-Man is placed immediately after UXM #10, meaning that by the end of AOXM, the characters return to the real world, but in the real world, we are still circa UXM #11. Not sure if I'm being clear enough in my reasoning here.

In my opinion, it should make more sense to have the characters "die" in UXM #10, then the real world stories occur, such as War of the Realms, etc, then, either before or after the real world placement of UXM #22, AOXM would take place.

I know this is sorta irrelevant for character specific chronologies, but for the sequence of events, as a whole, the change makes a lot of sense to me.

Thoughts on this?

No worries, I'm used to this situation as I'm always several years behind current publication, which is the priority, of course.

Marvel's Voices: Pride III 1/2 (10 - 15) [Nightshade II] takes place a year after pages 1 - 9, which take place during ULTS4 7 in Civil War.

I would place it after Ironheart 4-5..
