AOXM:A (Alpha) 1 introduces (to the reader) the world X-Man created and lasts two days. Bishop is sent to the Danger Room prison.

AOXM:ANC (Amazing Nightcrawler) 1 happens in a day. #2 is the next day. #3 is that night and the next day and the next. #4 is the same day as #3’s end. #5 is that same day. Nightcrawler gets reset at the end, but Meggan goes into hiding/becomes a fugitive. So, if she appears anywhere else it’ll have to be before this series. Likely before AOXM:NXTGEN, because of the movie being filmed here. Sure, he’s always filming a movie, but hey.

AOXM:NXTGEN (Next Gen) 1-4, 5 (1-6) lasts a few days. The X-Tremists appear. Followers of Apocalypse appear, but he doesn’t. Blog, Rockslide, Anole and Armor become fugitives, so if they appear somewhere else… AOXM:NXTGEN 5 (7-20) is a week later and then lasts about a week. The X-Men arrest the fugitives and wipe their minds (except Glob); Glob, Rockslide, Anole and Armor are put into prison. If they appear anywhere else it’ll have to be before AOXM:NXTGEN 1. Some of the students are excited about the upcoming Nightcrawler movie, which is being filmed over in AOXM:ANC. Also, according to Glob, they’ve been in this world for “months.”

AOXM:XTRM (X-Tremists) 1 happens in a day. #2 spans three days, and it seems like it starts the day after #1. #3 is the same night as the end of #2, and spans “days,” if not a week. #4 is the same day and then the next. Suddenly, people start to remember their old lives. That seems like it will overlap with something… AOXM:XTRM 5-FB happens between pages 16-17 of #4, and the rest of #5 is the same night as #4’s end. Moneta (one of the cast members) is found murdered. What? All rioting as people remember the real world. Psylocke definitely appears in this book after she appears in AOXM:NXTGEN.

AOXM:PRSX (Prisoner X) 1 has Bishop arriving in the Danger Room prison. Happens in a day.

AOXM:PRSX 2 has an appearance by Psylocke. Forge mentions Bishop’s adjustment to prison life, so he’s been there for a while. Bishop is put into solitary. Happens in a day.

AOXM:PRSX 3 has no mention of how long it’s been since last issue. Happens in a day.

AOXM:PRSX 4 has Bishop being let out of solitary. Happens over a few days and everyone starts remembering the real world. Ends on a cliffhanger.

AOXM:PRSX 5 has appearances by Glob, Anole, Armor & Rockslide as prisoners, so after AOXM:NXTGEN 5. Since people are remembering the real world, around the same time as AOXM:XTRM 5-FB.

AOXM:MARX (Marvelous X-Men) 1 happens over two days. Jean becomes aware of who’s running the resistance: En Sabah Nur, Genesis and Kitty Pryde.

AOXM:MARX 2 happens in a day, Apocalypse (or “Murshid” I guess), Psylocke and Moneta (from X-Tremists) appear. Maybe a few days since last issue?

AOXM:MARX 3 says it’s been “mere weeks” since #2. Nur is now in Canada and plans to be in London for Xavier Day.

AOXM:MARX 4 is Xavier Day and a few days after that. The X-Men are trying to figure things out and haven’t been apart, so no appearances elsewhere. Colossus defects from the X-Men, and Moneta, Iceman and Northstar appear.

AOXM:MARX 5-FB (which happens between pages 18-19 of last issue) shows Moneta looking for Colossus and being murdered by Apocalypse, which explains why she’s dead in AOXM:XTRM 5, so that’s nice. The X-Men confront X-Man for duping everyone. Also, #5-FB-FB shows X-Man creating this world. To be continued!

AOXM:A&XTRCT (Apocalypse & the X-Tracts) 1 has Apocalypse planning a public event. #2 has a flashback to “years ago” where Apocalypse recruits Kitty Pryde. They’ve only been in this world for months, so that’s an implanted memory. The main story overlaps with MARX 2 (and another bit overlaps with MARX 3), and reveals the Genesis appearing in MARX 2 is an illusion. Pages 14-20 (the Russia mission) have to be a flashback, since it picks up immediately from page 10. #3 continues the Russia mission AND a Colossus (who is still with the X-Men, so before MARX 4) subplot where he has an art gallery dedicated to Kitty. So are we past MARX 3, where Colossus is still painting Kitty? There is a possible break between pages 2-3 (after the kids hole up in an abandoned house and before Dazzler goes after Omega Red)… #4 has Colossus already having left the X-Men, so we’re after MARX 4 (1-18) by this point; the Russia subplot is still going. Of course, Dazzler appears in MARX 4 with Apocalypse before Colossus defects from the X-Men, but she doesn’t return from Russia in A&XTRCT 4 until after Colossus has defected from the X-Men. Therefore, the Dazzler appearing in MARX 4 has to be an illusion like the Genesis appearing in MARX 2 explicitly was. Pages 18-20 of #4 is “later” and Eye Boy learns Apocalypse is working with X-Man. #5’s not out yet, but I would imagine it will overlap with Apocalypse murdering Moneta.

Omega isn’t out yet either.

By the time AOXM:A happens, they’ve been in this “world” for months. It’s possible that only AOXM:MARX 5-FB-FB is before WOTR (and immediately after UX5 10) and everything else is after WOTR; however things wrap up in Omega and how the X-Men return will probably clarify things.

One unfortunate bit: Moonstar is with the remaining X-Men in the real world (she appears in WOTR, etc.). Moonstar is also a supporting character in AOXM:PRSX. At first I thought the PRSX Moonstar was an illusion like Shard was, but after Legion was defeated she was still around, so there goes that theory. I guess the PRSX Moonstar is just a construct created by X-Man, like any other new characters are?

It’s possible Moonstar is X-Man’s “better half” in the same way that Shard was Legion’s.

AOXM:A&XTRCT 5 (1-19) picks up from #4's end, and is nonstop until page 20 where everyone is teleported to the X-Men confronting X-Man. So, AOXM:A&XTRCT 4 (18-20) will have to be moved to after Apocalypse killing Moneta (currently/it was right before the murder).

Question: What about AOXM:MARX 5? Its a little messy to me.

So there is P1-2, the FB scene which goes before even AoXM:A. Then P3-11 the murder flashback+investigation and 12-20 the confrontation (or are they blend together somehow?).

How would you separate the murder FB and the investigation scene? (you marked P1-11 as 'Moneta’s murder investigated' but that can't be 1 story, as P1-2 already a separate FB)

AOXM:MARVX 5 (1-2:2)-FB is a “years ago” fake memory that didn’t really happen.

AOXM:MARVX 5 (8)-FB-FB is X-Man and Apocalypse “agreeing” to be enemies, shortly after AOXM:A.

AOXM:MARVX 5 (4:5-7, 9)-FB (or, 4:5-9-FB) is Moneta’s murder.

AOXM:MARVX 5 (2:3-4:4, 10-11) (or, 1-11) is Moneta’s murder investigation.

AOXM:MARVX 5 (12-20) is later, the X-Men return home and eventually confront X-Man.

Might want to take a look at the Omega preview...

AOXM:O 1 has X-Man saying that “millions of years passed in an instant” while he was creating his little pocket world. Eh, whatever; the X-Men still remember things that didn’t really happen and are interacting with characters that don’t really exist. Any flashback that has Cyclops, Wolverine, Professor X, etc. in this world is a false memory, whether “millions of years passed in an instant” or not. On a happy note, the Moonstar thing is dealt with directly (she’s a construct made by X-Man (because they were sweet on each other once) while the real one is hanging out with Cyclops), so that’s nice.

AOXM:O 1 (18:6) and UX5 21 (18:4) are the same scene. So:
