Strange Tales #1

I noticed Atlas era horror on the list of issues that needed to be covered. I own a number of these hardcovers (Strange Tales vols. 1 and 4; Journey Into Mystery vols. 1-4; Tales of Suspense vol. 1)

This is my first attempt, Strange Tales 1. Any feedback for this would be appreciated. I included characters without last names for the sake of completeness even though I know that they won't be added.

ST 1/1
Lieutenant Ted Halsey
Jim Nelson
Doctor Lemut (I initially put this as LeMut, but that's probably not correct).
General Mortell/Agent 1-W

Lemut and Mortell are Saturnian “big-shots” who can breathe oxygen. Regular Saturnians cannot. Saturnians are not to be confused with the Saturn Men from JIM 83. They are indistinguishable from humans but can walk through walls.

ST 1/2
Roger Phillips
Paul Lorenze (transformed into a gorilla)
Professor Mannheim (dies) Note: name appears twice, the first time with only one N.

Hallturn University

ST 1/3
unnamed narrator staying at a hotel in Maine who discovers a strange conch shell

ST 1/4
James Reston
Luren
Karl
Hotel Grimwald Manager
Doctor

Luren and Karl are ghosts who died in 1616.

ST 1/5
Joe, television repair specialist
Mary, his wife
Mr. Grey of 15 Grayvesend Avenue, alias Mr. Brown of 30 Sunnyside Road
Mary’s Aunt Sue (mentioned, reported deceased by Grey/Brown)
Wulfken

Most of this story is a dream; however, the ending suggests that Mr. Brown is really Mr. Grey of the dream, for he had just moved from 15 Grayvesend Lane and has a servant named Wulfken. Which name, if either, is real, is anyone's guess, but Brown, appearing in the "real" portion should probably be given preference.

Thanks!

Are any of these text stories? If so, which one/s?

1/3 is a text story. Should I ignore the text stories for MCP purposes? I'm happy to do more of these. Each Masterworks volume is usually ten issues, so that's about 79 more issues to do.

Go ahead and include them, but please point out which is a text story.

Thanks, and keep 'em coming! :)
