In WEB OF SPIDER-MAN v2 #8, we see photos of embarrassing moments in Spidey's career. How do we want to handle placement of all these?

One day. Spidey smacks into a post.

One day. Spidey is hit by a banana peel and trips.

...How about we find an issue where he's really depressed and have them all happen at once right before it?

LOL! Wasn't there an old issue of Peter Parker Spider-Man where Peter was depressed, went to visit Uncle Ben's grave in the rain, and then got splashed with mud from a car speeding by? I feel like that would fit with these scenes pretty well.

For the sake of simplicity, we could just bundle all these flashbacks together and find one chronological slot for them all. Okay folks, find a specific time when karma was not working for Spidey. Okay, that doesn't necessarily narrow things down. Remember, he has to wear his classic costume at the time.

We may want to make this a fairly recent time to reduce the amount of time Peter would be moving around with his shoebox of bad Spidey pix -- perhaps the flashbacks could be placed since he moved in with Vin, post Band New Day. Ideas? Does the Thing's (fist's) appearance give us anything?

I also remember an issue (from around the same time as the one I mentioned earlier) where Spider-Man accidentally knocked over the Thing's donuts. The issue ended there with the heavy implication that Spidey was about to get an ass-kickin'. Maybe that's what that fist was about?

(Seriously, I can remember waaaaaaay too many times where Spidey's been in unlucky and embarassing situations. Almost like it's a staple of the character...)

If you mean before page 1 of ASM 545, that would be in the middle of Peter and M.J.'s day-long consideration of Mephisto's offer. If you mean before page 23 of ASM 545, that's a time that Spidey was making no public appearances.
