Reshuffle for Wolverine, Bishop & Sage due to Marvels Snapshots: Fantastic Four (2020)

Today I've been re-reading some of the issues referenced in Marvels Snapshots: Fantastic Four (2020). ...these events should all take place within a day or two. Two weeks ago XSTATIX 11 (5-14) - El Guapo is invited on his first mission with X-Statix Two days ago DD2 47 (1-13) - Gang warfare in NY wi...

Re: Spider-Man/Human Torch # 1 (2005)

Though the discussion above was back in 2019, the MCP still shows the sequence ASM 25 (1-6:6)—SM/HT 1—ASM 25 (6:7–20) for Spider-Man, Aunt May, Betty Brant and Jonah Jameson. This chronology really makes no sense. The most straightforward reading of ASM 24 and 25 would have Spider-Man's encounters w...

Avengers/Invaders #9

The Red Skull should not be listed. Like Union Jack and Spitfire (who are correctly omitted), he only appears after Anselm has used the Cosmic Cube to resurrect his comrades, causing the divergence into Earth-93198.

Re: The Destroyer in the 1940s

Thank you for the correction robfj. I've had a look through some of the Official Handbook entries for the other characters who appear at the end of Marvels #1 and they support a year of 1942 for this mission, though there is some contradiction as to exactly when in 1942. The entries for Black Marvel...

Re: The Destroyer in the 1940s

Well done, Captain Good! Thanks for saving me the trouble! Nae danger chief! I'd be inclined to stick USA Comics #12/2 and Kid Komics #5/2 in Keen Marlow's chronology as a default. In that case, going by the publication dates, they would fit here: DESTROYER I ... ALLWC 10/5 USAC 12/2 USAC 13/2 KIDK...

The Destroyer in the 1940s

Several Golden Age appearances of the Destroyer are currently incorrectly listed under Brian Falsworth or Roger Aubrey, rather than under Keen Marlow, who does not even have a character list. Keen Marlow's first appearance as the Destroyer was in Mystic Comics #6 (1941). When Brian Falsworth first a...

Re: Marvel Comics Presents #77–79 and Sgt Fury #22

Sgt Fury and his Howling Commandos #88 needs splitting either side of this story, too: SGTF 88 (1-8) - shortly before Patton takes Palermo on 22 July 1943 all the above listings SGTF 88 (14-20) - aftermath of Patton slapping wounded men for cowardice on 3 and 10 August; Messina is captured, 16 Augu...

Re: Marvel Comics Presents #77–79 and Sgt Fury #22

In the character lists, entries for Sergeant Fury and his Howling Commandos #22 need deleting and amendments need making to the entries for Marvel Comics Presents #77–79 as shown below. The presence of Eric Koenig in MCP #77–79 means that Sgt Fury #22 must take place after Sgt Fury #36, when Koenig ...

Marvel Comics Presents #77–79 and Sgt Fury #22

Marvel Comics Presents #77–79 (1991) includes the three-part story "Rumanian Rumble!", starring Nick Fury and Dracula. M/CP 77 (1) says the date is "late July, 1942", but this is a slip of the pen for "late July, 1943": the Howling Commandos' mission in this story is t...

Sir Anthony Baskerville

A couple of appearances and the first name are missing from this character's listing:

BASKERVILLE, SIR ANTHONY
DS2 51 <--to be added
DS2 52 <--to be added
{ST 135/2}

He also appears in DSSS 7/2 (3.2)-FB but this doesn't seem to add anything to DS2 52.

Re: Defenders (2011) 9-12 SHIELD Cold War flashbacks

And hey, just how great was DEF4? I loved all the shout-outs in the team that protected the Concordance Engines from the Confederates of the Curious. Besides Namor's parents Len and Fen, there were: John Aman : Bill Everett's Amazing-Man from Centaur Publications' Amazing-Man Comics (1939–41) and S...
