Re: Ultimate Spider-Man chronology
USM #9 shouldn't be counted as Bendis himself has stated it's not canon. I assume you mean ULTMTU 9. There is a reference to this issue in ULTSM:R 2 which points to its inclusion. It could very easily be dismissed but I chose to put it in continuity with the silly explanation that it was a practica...

Ultimate Spider-Man chronology
With the relaunch of the Ultimate line I decided to go back and re-read the entire run of USM. Figured I might as well put together a chronology while I was at it (since there doesn't seem to be one here beyond issue 32). Considering this was a mostly self-contained title in a brand new universe it ...

Re: TRUTH & CA 247-FB
Cap wasn't very good in those early days I guess. What is this Atlas? Does it mention the original Reinstein's first name? So, do the entries go down as- REINSTEIN, PROFESSOR/ ABRAHAM ERSKINE & REINSTEIN, DOCTOR JOSEF/ DR. WILFRED NAGEL or- ERSKINE, ABRAHAM/ "PROFESSOR REINSTEIN" &...

Re: TRUTH & CA 247-FB
The suggested listing for Professor Reinstein (A. Erskine) does not include a listing from Truth. Does this imply that the Reinstein which is assassinated in issue 6 is Reinstein II? That would suggest the press conference depicted is the second time Cap fails to prevent a Nazi saboteur. That same i...

H2 226 & 227
These two older issues of the Hulk both contain dream FB sequences. The first depicts Banner at Desert State University w/ a girlfriend named Sally. The second issue has a flashback to Banner as a young child at home and another scene showing him in a high school science class. Currently, only the m...

M/CP 99/4 update
I was just updating my Spidey chronology w/ the current listing here and noticed that his appearance in M/CP 99/4 has been added. Just curious as to why it was placed after WOSM 31 instead of before? Was this just a minor entry error or a disagreement about its suggested placement?

Re: Unanswered questions
We'll probably learn more about that in the elusive new Spider-Woman series, but from what I remember of NEW AVENGERS #42, the Skrull-infiltrated Hydra may have given them back to her before switching her with the Skrull Queen (as first shown in NEW AVENGERS #14-15's flashbacks). That was the "...

Unanswered questions
Has it been explained anywhere as to how Spider-woman got her powers back?
How is Mockingbird alive? How did Skrockingbird know the birthday for Bobbi & Clint's lost kid?
It appears that Norman and Co. are in control of Avengers Tower. Didn't Stark own that building?

Re: When were the Stacy twins born?
Was the proper chronology for Gwen Stacy and Norman Osborn ever determined with regards to their children? Around which issues during the 1960s-1970s did they have their affair, resulting in Gwen becoming pregnant? When was she leave for Europe for four months? When did she have the twins, and when...

Re: Flashback within flashback in NEW AVENGERS #47
I thought of a gap where you suggest, then I thought it was very odd that the whole assignment to find Cage's dad never came up in all the time from prior to ALIAS #1 to DAREDEVIL Vol. 2 #59. Sure, I suppose it was a constant topic of discussion BTS throughout that time, but...ah, this is Bendis. W...

Re: Flashback within flashback in NEW AVENGERS #47
Thanks, JD. Yup, panel by panel repetition for that scene with DD and company. But, I was under the impression the FB-FB was at an earlier point in Cage's and Jessica's lives, unless there was a great deal of facetitiousness in the dialog. Heck, in DD2 59 they just moved in together and tell Matt t...

Re: Mephisto's historical alterations for OMD/BND
1/ Peter and MJ dated, but never married. But they were engaged and had a wedding planned. The alternate outcome is supposed to be revealed in ASM 600. 3/ Aunt May was never shot. I thought she just "recovered" from the shooting. :?: And is anyone aware of how Mephisto exactly changed tim...

Captain America basics
As a long time Spidey fan, and former X-men fan, I never had much interset in Captain America. I always kind of saw him as the MU's Superman: a bland, idealistic hero. In other words, boring. I tried the post-9/11 restart but didn't stick with it after the second arc. Given Cap's role in Civil War a...
