Re: Mother Teresa of Calcutta #1 (1984)
marvunapp considers the Pope issue to be 616 on its Hitler page. What's your point? Just that they don't see any reason to not consider it 616, and some of those guys also write for the handbooks. It's not proof that it's 616, but just another example of others well-versed in Marvel continuity that...

Re: Mother Teresa of Calcutta #1 (1984)
Consulting the FAQ section of the MCP, both Mother Teresa and the Life of Pope John Paul II are already considered "non-canon". I would consider these two stories to be biographies of individuals on our earth, not Earth 616. I am guessing that is why they are out of continuity. I don't se...

Re: Adventures into Weird Worlds #21
Maybe, but is it really plausible the writer thought that Hitler thought that Stalin might vouch for him? After all, he'd fought a brutal war with massive losses against the Nazi invaders.

Adventures into Weird Worlds #21
I missed this one when I broke down Napoleon's chronology last year. Adventures into Weird Worlds #21 (Aug 1953) 1st Story : By ? APPEARANCES: Petersons (murder victims), sheriff, Greg (deputy), Vorn, townspeople, Matt Collins (deputy), Mason, Fred, Junior (subterranean) SYNOPSIS: The sheriff and hi...

Re: Headcanon!
The 616 version of Clark Kent has Superman-like powers, and is the flying character seen in the Spider-Man mini-book from the mid-60s. He also ages slowly, which is why he's seen during the 40s with the original Human Torch on the cover of a Brazilian comic that translated American stories from vari...

Re: Patsy Walker 122-124
It's nice to see others finally agreeing with me. I've said for years that the Patsy Walker comics should be considered canonical, since they are explicitly referenced as so in Avengers (and the Avengers Index) and all the crossovers between the various humor characters (Patsy, Millie, Kathy, Linda ...

Yeah, don't the handbooks confirm that the Thor and Loki in Venus are the same characters?

Re: Little Lizzie
I agree, I presume a story published by Marvel is 616 unless there's positive reason to think it isn't. But that doesn't help with the Lizzie (and Awful Oscar) situation. Both volumes are 616, I would assume, but that doesn't tell us if they're the same characters or not. Edit: Travis Starnes (the c...

I've never claimed the text story is proof either way, since Lizzie isn't in that story.

Little Lizzie
I know Lizzie doesn't yet have an MCP chronology yet (but she's definitely 616, as she appears in a Jeanie story), so this may be jumping the gun, but I was wondering if anyone here might have any input on a debate that's been raging today in the Complete Marvel Reading Order forum: link . Basically...

The Punisher in the Savage Land
Is this the sort of item that could be included in MCP, or is it out of bounds? Even if the latter, it's still an interesting item: https://www.cbr.com/punisher-savage-land-graphic-novel/

Interesting. I didn't realize that. Thanks!wolframbane wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2018 10:02 pm In TGK #134, '76, which reprints the Alamo story, a new caption on page 1 indicates that this has been retconned to being an imaginary story.

Re: Rawhide Kid - the Sensational Seven
I still want someone to explain how Two-Gun (Matt) could be present at the Battle of the Alamo, and how both the Matt and Clay Two-Guns could have so many identical adventures. Less flippantly: Matt's a time-traveller, so his presence at the Alamo (what comic claimed or showed that?) could be down ...
