Re: Top Ten #8

Yeah, it's in the Corps' entry in the handbook hardcovers, #2. A lot of easter egg cameos are just sort of "wink, wink" things that aren't supposed to be taken seriously (like the above example of Spider-Man with the Justice League). However, this cameo has been referenced in the handbooks, and it m...

Re: Question about several comic books

Yeah, the Destroyer comics are 616. And no, none of Angela's Image appearances have been referenced, at least to my knowledge (I haven't read all of her Marvel appearances, so it's possible there's a reference I haven't seen, but her handbook entry didn't reference them).

Re: Top Ten #8

Interesting. I don't see why the other Marvel characters who cameo couldn't be the same versions we're used to, but the only ones I know have been officially confirmed are Captains Albion and England in the Corps' handbook entry. There are a number of other Marvel character cameos who appear in non-...

Top Ten #8

TOP TEN #8 (Jun 2000) By Alan Moore APPEARANCES: Captain Albion, Captain England NOTE: There’s no need to summarize this, since it’s a non-Marvel story. However, it’s set in Neopolis, a place that advertises interdimensional travel. In one panel, Captains Albion and England have a cameo appearance....

Re: USA Comics #5-8

So, if someone were to go through and break down appearances for text stories from otherwise already analyzed issues, would that be welcome? And just use /TEXT rather than a number? While a lot of them are one-offs, some of the text stories include characters that show up again elsewhere (e.g...

Re: USA Comics #5-8

The recent Index for Captain America (which covered all the Golden Age Cap books; anyone interested should check it out!) counted the various Secret Stamp pages as one block of stories, instead of individual stories for each page. I have a feeling the MCP will follow suit for the Otto pages, the Da...

Re: USA Comics #5-8

Oh, I forgot to ask earlier, why no chronologies listed for the following characters?

Fish Face Friday
Carlos Ramirez
Jeep Jones
Valerie Welling
Marshall von Hapz
Disk-Eyes the Detective
Spider McStrangle

Re: USA Comics #5-8

I already broke down the Victory Boys story in Comedy Comics #10: http://www.chronologyproject.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?p=52757#p52757. The boys (except for Victor) were given full names in the Marvel Atlas, so that's how I listed them there. Notice also that it's not the 6th story in #10, but rathe...

Ah, I guess that makes sense. I thought the ~ symbol was used to indicate simultaneity in-universe, not from an out-of-universe publishing perspective.

The more I think about it, the more I think Hitler deserves a BTS appearance listed in his chronology for issue #5. Where in his chronology should it go?

Re: Mystic Comics #1-4

My understanding is that text stories have always been considered extras like activity pages or letters pages, etc. They're bonuses, not "stories" if you get the difference (yes, they're stories, but you know what I mean. I hope). The MCP hasn't included any text stories that I'm aware of, but if w...
