Re: Patsy Walker 122-124

The Avengers Index backs this up by explicitly citing those issues of Patsy Walker as prior appearances of the characters. I personally feel that most issues of Patsy Walker (and related or similar titles) can be treated like Golden Age comics - semi-accurate (to varying degrees) accounts of actual...

Re: Rawhide Kid - the Sensational Seven

I still want someone to explain how Two-Gun (Matt) could be present at the Battle of the Alamo, and how both the Matt and Clay Two-Guns could have so many identical adventures.

Re: Update

Looking over other issues I posted breakdowns for that aren't listed as updates, I see they fall into the following categories: Characters within which have been added to MCP chronologies: ASTON 47 BATTLE 29, 44 BFIELD 2 BGROUND 12 CHAMPC 16, 17 COMEDYC 10 M/TALES 139 MANC 22, 23 MTALES 35 MYS 38 ST...

King Solomon in Bible Tales

The chronology for King Solomon used to include his appearance in the Atlas Bible Tales series. This is now missing from his chronology. Why? Marvel apparently considers the Bible Tales series to be 616, as Bible Tales for Young Folk is listed as the first appearance of angels in the Marvel Zombies ...

Re: and then… CONAN

I'm hoping not only are the new Marvel Conan stories 616, but that they also incorporate the various Dark Horse stories as in-continuity, too.

Re: Who's read it all?

Me? Nowhere near everything! Why only the comics and not also the other 616-canon stories post-1961? ...Because one has to draw a line somewhere? (Curious what else you include in that, though: the prose novels & a few short story collections, but what else?) VHL has a very...inclusivist idea o...

Re: Who's read it all?

Why only the comics and not also the other 616-canon stories post-1961? Edit: Speaking just of comics, are you including literally all of the in-canon post-1961 comics? Westerns? Romance? Humor (Millie, Chili, etc.)? Promotional/educational comics that have been referenced as 616? Marvel comic adapt...

Re: what are your Marvel firsts?

My first comics were the mini-comics packed with He-Man action figures. I distinctly recall my first Marvel comic, though. In 1987, I was six years old. My sister, 9 months old, was in the hospital for open heart surgery (she was born with a serious heart defect, but she was too little for surgery u...

Re: any favorite Captain America stories?

I really liked the Marvels Project, as well as All-Winners Squad: Band of Heroes, despite it being canceled before resolving the plot. And I'm partial to the "Just Imagine: Jeanie" arc in Questar magazine, a story about Steve Rogers's daughter in a timeline in which he never became Captain...

Re: Non-Marvel characters in the Prime Marvel Universe

I'm not aware of any references establishing a 616 version of the Shadow. I do wonder if the parody stories in the 50s series Riot are set in any of the same universes as other Marvel parody continuities (such as Not Brand Echh or Crazy Magazine), since there's a Shadow parody character named the Sh...

Re: Spidey Super Stories

Are you sure the stories in Electric Company Magazine are just truncated reprints? I thought there were some original stories. http://www.spiderfan.org/comics/title/e ... o_mag.html
