Jack of Hearts in Alias 28

Currently, we have Jack of Hearts's appearance in Alias 28 in between A3 76 and A 500. How is that possible? In Alias 28, Jack of Hearts helps the other Avengers fight the Purple Man. In A3 76, Jack of Hearts died. In A 500, Crazy Wanda brings him back to life to use as a weapon against the other Av...

Re: X-MEN FANS: What's missing from the recent Index?

Doesn't the explanation of Proteus' recent resurrection on Muir Island in X-Men Legacy 231-233 make Star Trek/X-Men non-canon? Proteus' resurrection is problematic anyway - the HoM world was the MU, just altered (Hawkeye could literally see right through it to the MU beneath in the Pulse HoM issue,...

Re: X-MEN FANS: What's missing from the recent Index?

But the flashback in Cable 33 takes place before New Mutants 87. Xavier wouldn't become Onslaught for quite some time.

Re: X-MEN FANS: What's missing from the recent Index?

Here's the thing about the flashback in Cable 72- it continues from a flashback in C2 33 featuring Post, G.W. Bridge, Cable and the Mandarin. That flashback is listed in Post's, G.W.'s and Cable's chronologies but not in Mandarin's. My guess is that it would take place between IM 268-FB and TOS 50 (...

Kingpin in PPTSS 2

Currently, we have the Kingpin appearing in PPTSS 2 in between ASM 164 and DPOOL3 36-FB-BTS. Am I missing something here? What new material showing the Kingpin is in PPTSS 2? There's a recap of ASM 164 but I don't see where the new material is.

Re: Emma Frost and that X-Men flashback...

The report seemed to me in EF no.6 that the reporter didn't recognize them because of their costumes. They should have at least recognized Bobby- his ice form retained the same look. And once they figured out it was Bobby, they should have been able to figure out Angel from his wings, Scott from hi...

Re: Emma Frost and that X-Men flashback...

Moving Generation X -1 in between Emma Frost 12 and 13 doesn't work for the reasons discussed in Archive 52- Emma first learns what a mutant is in Emma Frost 14, which would require that the Dark Beast never mentioned to Emma what a mutant is, and Emma's too skilled with her telepathy for Generation...

Re: Which Comes First, UX 135 or FF@ 14?

I dug out my old indexes- the problem is that the indexes DISAGREE. Olshevsky's X-Men Index #7 has FF@ 14 occuring AFTER UX 135 but in Murray Ward's Avengers Index #4, the order of events is FF@ 14, IM 125, UX 135. Apparently we used Olshevksy's index to construct Reed's and Ben's chronologies and M...

Re: Emma Frost and that X-Men flashback...

Just to add my own feelings on the matter, in Emma Frost 6, the press doesn't seem to know that the X-Men are mutants- they're wondering if their powers are some sort of special effects. That would seem to reinforce the theory that the costumes are an art error- it's hard to imagine the press not kn...

Re: Emma Frost and that X-Men flashback...

It was discussed in Archive 52: GENERATION X #-1 A continuity nightmare. Sean is described as an NYPD detective at this point; perhaps he's on secondment. While keeping surveillance on Harry Leland with his partner, Sean sees the teenage Emma Frost being abducted by the Dark Beast. He goes after her...

Re: Thor in SWII 9

A gap is problematic. The woman Loki brainwashed says "0h, I'm so glad you haven't gone yet. I saw your fight with that awful creature and I just wanted to tell you how wonderful you are! You saved us all!" And it's a plot point that Thor is still wearing his Belt of Strength from the figh...

The Flashbacks in Alias 25-26

Currently, we have the flashbacks in Alias 25-26 where Jessica Jones gets beat up by the Avengers and put into a coma between A 185 and 186 in the Avengers' chronologies. And we have the flashback in Alias 26 where Phoenix II helps Jessica out of her coma taking place prior to UX 122 in Phoenix II's...

Which Comes First, UX 135 or FF@ 14?

Currently, in the Thing's and Mr. Fantastic's chronologies, we have UX 135 placed before FF@ 14. In Spider-Man's chronology, we have FF@ 14 placed before UX 135. Note that in Dr. Strange's chronology, his appearance in UX 135 takes place before his appearance in DEF 69 and in Nighthawk's chronology,...

Re: Thor in SWII 9

I figured I'd beat Michael to this one. Curses, foiled again! :) We currently have Thor in SWII 9 between T 365 and 366, a time that Thor was a frog. Yet Thor appears in his normal form in SWII 9. Before I go trying to sort this out, did we at some point decide that the Beyonder turned him back to ...

Re: X-MEN FANS: What's missing from the recent Index?

But some of the Origins books might not be canon- the Cyclops one, for example, has Scott being 22 at the time of UX 7, establishes that Xavier first gave Scott the ruby quartz glasses (other stories made it clear that Scott had them for weeks before he met Xavier) and has an account of how Scott an...
