Re: X-MEN VS. HULK #1
As far as Peter looking like an idiot about meeting Hulk in M/TO @7. I don't remember them having any personal interaction and as I recall, Hulk got kicked out of the boxing match for acting "savage." X-Men vs. Hulk is about Peter learning not to jump to conclusions. Hulk shows up out of ...

Re: X-MEN VS. HULK #1
Looking at the chronologies for the X-Men. I'm thinking this should go between M/GN 5 and X&AF2 1 both of which come between UX 168 and UX 169. How would the Hulk pan out at this time, assuming he was acting as part of the set-up by Wolverine? I understand this may not be the most ideal solutio...

Re: X-MEN VS. HULK #1
Micheal wrote Storm's hairstyle can be attributed to artistic license. That's a pretty big discrepancy, were not talking about a slight artistic difference, the mohawk was a change in attitude. Storm is still acting pre mohawk in this comic. This title can only go in this spot. Wolverine dosn't spe...

Re: X-MEN VS. HULK #1
Storm doesn't have a mohawk in this comic. So it has to be before they go to Japan. For the X-Men it has to go between 167 and 168 That won't work. Wolverine doesn't meet Lockheed until Uncanny X-Men 172. I think that Storm's hairstyle can be attributed to artistic license. How many stories have ch...

I'm not sure if it was the first time but he was called Speedball in Captain America 352.

Re: X-MEN VS. HULK #1
So, where do we place this week’s X-MEN VS. HULK #1? Lockheed’s presence and Logan’s reference to the Brood nearly killing the X-Men clearly place the story after UX 166. However, established chronologies (including Official Index to the X-Men) place UX 166 after H2 276, the issue in which the Hulk...

Re: Was Baron Strucker in X-Men Alpha Flight an LMD?
I just got an email from Jeff Christiansen at the Marvel Appendix. He claims that he's "pretty sure" Strucker's being an LMD was referenced in Strucker's Offical Handbook entry.

Re: Was Baron Strucker in X-Men Alpha Flight an LMD?
Yeah, I know, but in this case, Strucker's appearance is impossible. He was "dead" at the time.

Re: Uncanny X-Men Annual #2
On bendisboard, Fraction admitted that it was a mistake. Selene WAS supposed to be Tessa. See the following link: http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/showpost.php?p=5677922&postcount=652 Fraction claims that it will be corrected in the trade. So I guess we should just treat it like occurs shor...

Was Baron Strucker in X-Men Alpha Flight an LMD?
In the second X-Men-Alpha Flight series, Baron Strucker appears. Unfortunately, Strucker was "dead" at this time. The Marvel Appendix lists the Strucker in that series as an LMD. We have it listed as the real Strucker. Should it be changed to an LMD?

Re: Uncanny X-Men Annual #2
We are ignoring other continuity clues based on Selene's appearance. The use of Sentinels, Donald Pierce, Emma's lack of skill, Shaw's just taking leadership. These flashbacks ring true of the UX 99 era. I'm pretty sure they work for everbody but Osbourne and Selene. Lets just pretend Selene got mi...

Re: Uncanny X-Men Annual #2
Yes, Tessa has been retconned into having always had telepathy -- I wasn't trying to say that she didn't HAVE the power back then. I'm saying, AFAIK she never let her bosses in on that fact. Hence, "active display". Were Shaw and Emma present in the XX 3 flashback? -Jeph! Sorry, I misunde...

Re: Uncanny X-Men Annual #2
Given the art and characterization, my solution is simply to read "Selene" as "Tessa". Tessa, at this point, wasn't actively displaying telepathy. -Jeph! She defeated Psylocke by turning her telepathic attack against her and forced to her knees in Xtreme X-Men 3 in a flashback t...

Re: Uncanny X-Men Annual #2
Given the art and characterization, my solution is simply to read "Selene" as "Tessa". This would not be the first time a character was called by the wrong name in a canonical comic. This seems to solve most of the other problems. As for Osborn's interactions, Tony could have be...
