The Amazing Spider-Man and The New Mutants 1

I was wondering if the free Kmart comic The Amazing Spider-Man and The New Mutants (featuring Skids) Vol. 1, No. 1, 1990 was ever analyzed here? For Skids it is set sometime after Inferno (going by her costume which is similar to the one she got in the X-terminators mini) and sometime before she was arrested by Freedom Force in NM 78 and then recruited by the MLF. The only spot it could fit where she could go shopping in a supermarket and encounter a frazzled mother of 3 as a member of The New Mutants would be between NM 76 and XF 41. There is a flashback section which at first appears to be a redrawn version of the XF 16-FB sequences but there are some differences. These are all the flashback sequences:

XF 16, pg 2, panel 4: Skids' father breaks the pearl necklace her mother gave her because he('s probably drunk and) thinks she looks like a tramp. Her mother objects.
XF 16, pg 5, panel 5-6: Skids' mother grabs her husband's arm to stop him from hitting Skids so he hits her instead. Skids' mother falls and the back of her head hits the corner of an end table.
XF 16, pg 7, panels 2-3: Skids' father blames Skids for it and hits her. Skids yells "NO!"
ASM/NM 1, pg 13, panel 2-3: Skids' father waves his fist at Skids and tells her she's gonna get it and get it good. She begs him not to hit her again but he does. Her forcefield begins to activate.
XF 16, pg 19, panels 3-4: Skids cries out "Daddy! No! Mama's hurt! Bad! She--" but her father tells her to hold her tongue or he'll "whale the tar outta" her. He hits her again but her forcefield activates, his blow is deflected and he says, "What the devil--?"
ASM/NM 1, pg 15, panel 3: This is the same moment when his fist is stopped by her forcefield but a different "camera angle".
ASM/NM 1, pg 15, panel 4: Skids' father says, "What kind of trick is this you little witch? You're some kind of monster!"
XF 16, pg 19, panels 5-7: Skids' father tries to hit her a few more times but she realizes she can't feel it and says, "I... I don't feel that! Or that... or that..." She stands up and says she's not a devil but a miracle and he can't touch her. She won't let him hurt mama and yells at him to get out. He runs away.
XF 16, pg 20, panels 1-3: Skids' mother is dying and tells Skids to pick up the pearls and run away so he can't hurt her. Skids tries to help her mother but the forcefield prevents her from stopping the bleeding and her mother slips unconscious. She tries to fulfil her mother's dying request but can't pick up all the loose beads.
ASM/NM 1, pg 15, panel 5: A crying Skids realizes she can't shut off her forcefield.

It's a tiny bit awkward with the dialogue (the insertion of extra dialogue between "What the devil--?"/"Not a devil, daddy... a miracle!" bit) but otherwise, it fits.


I'm guessing the Spider-Man story would go around the same-ish spot time-wise which would be shortly after Inferno and sometime before Atlantis Attacks/Acts of Vengeance if the last page were to be considered canon and Spider-Man and Skids appear together to give their "...tips on what to do about physical abuse".
