GENX 21 has mid-term exams.
GENX 22 is Halloween.
GENX 23 is two days before Thanksgiving, so in 1996, that would make it Nov 26.
GENX 24 is Christmas Eve.

Spider-Man lists TB1 only two issues prior to his Christmas appearance in ASM 419-420.

There's a gap between TB1 & TB2, so Franklin's appearance in TB2 should go after GENX 20-23.

I also noticed that Howard the Duck and Beverly Switzer list their appearances in the Howard the Duck Holiday Special (Christmas Eve) prior to GENX 23 (Thanksgiving).

*In the Holiday Special, Howard is still living in Cleveland. He works in a video store and as a mall Santa. The plot involves Howard stopping the newest plot of the Hydra organization.
*In Generation X 20, Howard is in California. He picks up two hitchhikers, Chamber and Skin, and they head for Los Angeles.
*In Generation X 21, Howard and his new friends are in Los Angeles. He helps them locate Tores, an old female friend of Skin.
*In Generation X 23, Howard visits his friends at the Massachusetts Academy, and he has taken Beverly with him. Leech, Artie Maddicks, and Franklin Richards ask the couple for help in treating the injured Tana Nile. Tana has been secretly living at the Academy, without Generation X noticing her.
*In Generation X 25, Howard is still in Massachusetts Academy and has a fight with Black Tom Cassidy. He sets Black Tom on fire, but is scared when Tom recovers immediately from his injuries. Man-Thing then appears and Howard asks him for help. Man-Thing teleports away, taking with him Howard, Leech, Artie Maddicks, and Tana Nile. This subplot leads directly to the DayDreamers mini-series, where they visit worlds created by Franklin's subconscious thoughts.

Right. So Howard's not living in Cleveland between GENX 23 & 25 then either. He's been in Massachusetts during that time. The Holiday special only involves Howard, Beverly and Santa Claus, and could easily be the previous Christmas.

It could work easily. Howard's apperance in SLAP 1 is a cameo. He is in his roon in Cleveland and only seen vomiting. His appearance in SAVH is another cameo, where Howard is in New York City. He is attending the trial of the Hulk. He is apparently not caught up in any bigger plot at this time.

SMTU 5/2 is a fairly inconsequental crossover with Spider-Man/Ben Reilly and Peter Parker. Howard and Beverly visit the circus, but there is no performance scheduled. Howard discovers that this circus is the Circus of Crime in disguise, and they are caught in a fight between Spidey and the Circus. (The story was an unofficial crossover with the "Savage Dragon/Destroyer Duck" #1 one-shot by Image, but I doubt that this is canon for the MCP. Both stories were written by Steve Gerber).

GR3 81-82 are the only Howard appearances in your list that are plot-relevant. He is ready to give up life on Earth, and Beverly seems to be out of the picture,

Howard is in East Village, and wants to return to his native reality. He convinces his old ally Jennifer Kale to help him, and she uses a magic book that she borrowed from Dr. Strange. The spell backfires. Instead of teleporting Howard to his native world, it teleports Devil Dinosaur and Moonboy to East Village. This leads to a fight between Ghost Rider/Dan Ketch and Devil Dinosaur, while Howard is left with no way to return home.

I would suggest that UX 339 is incorrectly placed for Scarlet Spider-Man. SMTU 5 takes place in the late Summer, UX 339 takes place in the Autumn, just before the mid-term exams in GENX 20 & 21, so i would advocate the following changes..

So, looking at this again, i don't think SMTU 5/2 needs to be moved in Howard the Duck's listing. We should rather move GR3 81-82 from the Avengers: The Crossing to Onslaught chronology into the Onslaught to Heroes Return Chronology.

GR3 82 happens before M/FAN2 3 for Danny Ketch, which is before SMU 14 for Ben Reilly. Dr Strange appears in GR3 77-81, which are inseparable from GR3 82, and for him this takes place before XU 12, which occurs during Onslaught. Assuming Dr Strange's chronology to be correct, that would place GR3 82 before the Onslaught issues in Trish's chronology.

In GR3 77-78, Doctor Strange feels tired, ready to help people if he's needed but he doesn't feel like doing it, he leaves abruptly in GR3 78 and sends Wong to bring a book to Jennifer Kale in GR3 81.
This bad mood could be linked to the loss of the heroes during Onslaught, so I'm with you for moving GR3 70-82 after Onslaught.
